Nantes see off Ligue 1 strugglers Troyes 3-0
Nantes avoided a third successive home defeat in Ligue 1 with a 3-0 win over struggling Troyes.Valentin Rongier netted his first goal of the season in stunning fashion when his 25-yard rocket flew into the top corner to hand Les Canaris a half-time lead.Shortly after the restart the hosts added a second when Troyes goalkeeper Denis Petric allowed Youssouf Sabaly's hopeful shot to creep in at his near post.And, just after the hour mark, Yacine Bammou wrapped up the points with a third Nantes goal, pouncing on a loose Chris Mavinga pass to get past Petric and score into an empty net.
