Nantes made it back-to-back Ligue 1 victories with a 2-1 win at Lorient.

Visiting goalkeeper Remy Riou pulled off a superb stop to keep out a deflected Vincent Le Goff shot, while Mohamed Mara was not too far away after good work from Majeed Waris.

But it was Nantes who took the lead against the run of play as Yacine Bammou's fierce drive proved too strong for keeper Benjamin Lecomte.

Guillaume Gillet doubled their lead after 74 minutes, cutting in from the left before side-footing past the keeper.

Lorient brought on Pierre-Yves Hamel for his league debut and he grabbed a goal five minutes later, but the home side could not muster an equaliser.
