Hamburg v Frankfurt
Hamburg SV 0-3 Eintracht Frankfurt
New Hamburg coach Markus Gisdol suffered a miserable home debut as the Bundesliga strugglers crashed to a 3-0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.
An own goal from Lewis Holtby before half-time set the tone for the northern Germany side, who were reduced to 10 men when Dennis Diekmeier picked up a second yellow card in the 57th minute.
Shani Tarashaj doubled Frankfurt's lead soon after with his first Bundesliga goal before Haris Seferovic added a third for Niko Kovac's men.
Referee Gunter Perl ended Hamburg's misery spot on 90 minutes as Frankfurt celebrated a win which took them to fourth overnight, and emphasised the size of the task Gisdol has taken on at second-bottom Hamburg.
