Sporting Kansas City and Toronto FC remained unbeaten after battling to a goalless draw at BMO Field on Friday night.

Both teams came away from the match with identical 1-0-3 records for the season.

The match marked stingy Sporting's third 0-0 draw in the young campaign.

Goalkeepers Clint Irwin and Alex Bono combined to keep Kansas City out of the net, with Irwin leaving the game with a knee injury late in the first half.

Midfielder Benny Feilhaber sat out the match for Sporting because of hamstring tightness.
