Own goal hands FC Dallas draw with Vancouver Whitecaps
Emerson Hyndman's cross pressured Vancouver into an own-goal in second-half stoppage time, and FC Dallas salvaged a 2-2 draw against the visiting Whitecaps on Sunday evening.
Ricardo Pepi added his team-leading fifth goal of the season much earlier for Dallas, which remained unbeaten at home with five draws and two wins.
Lucas Cavallini scored his third goal of the season and Andy Rose added his second to help Vancouver earn its second consecutive away draw following five straight losses.

The Whitecaps also held a 2-1 lead in Seattle before allowing a second-half equalizer. Yet this time it might have been worse without Maxime Crepeau, who finished the game with six saves.
Dallas led Vancouver 17-5 in overall shots and 8-2 in efforts on target.
But despite dominating possession for much of the second half, the hosts struggled to create dangerous chances in the final hour.
It didn't necessarily appear Hyndman's cross from the right would lead to an opportunity either, as it appeared to be falling between Pepi and Franco Jara.
But as Ranko Veselinovic retreated to try to defend it, he misjudged it and turned the ball into his own net at the near post, giving Crepeau no chance.
Pepi gave Dallas the lead in the 21st minute when he headed in Jesus Ferreira's dipping cross from the right flank. This time, Crepeau reacted well enough to get a hand to it, but without enough strength to keep it from crossing the line.
Dallas ruined their prosperity with their own defensive gaffe in the 30th minute.
Cristian Dajome got down the right and sent a cross toward the penalty spot, where Bressan was in good position to keep it from reaching Cavallini. But the defender flubbed his clearance attempt, leaving Cavallini with plenty of time to finish past Jimmy Maurer.
Rose then put the visitors ahead in the first minute of second-half stoppage time, reaching Deiber Caicedo's corner kick at the back post to head it past Maurer from close range.
