Serie A leaders Napoli have bolstered their squad with the signing of Vasco Regini from Sampdoria.
Napoli have been keen to reinforce their defensive options and Italy under-21 left-back Regini has now arrived on loan.
Head coach Maurizio Sarri knows the 25-year-old well from his time in charge of Empoli and the duo were reunited last month when Napoli beat Samp 4-2 in Genoa.
In a statement published on their official website, the Stadio San Paolo club confirmed they have an option to buy Cesena-born Regini at the end of the season.
