Tottenham sign Kyle Walker-Peters to contract extension until 2021

Tottenham Hotspur have signed defender Kyle Walker-Peters to a new contract through the 2020-21 season.

Walker-Peters, 21, made nine appearances for Tottenham this season, debuting in the 2-0 win against Newcastle United in the opening game.

He scored his first goal for the club in the 6-1 win over Rochdale in the fifth-round FA Cup replay in February and had two assists in the 5-4 victory against Leicester City on Sunday.

"Just wanted to say I'm absolutely delighted to sign my new contract," Walker-Peters said in a video posted on Tottenham's Twitter account. "It's been a great year for me and I really do look forward to what the future holds."

Walker-Peters has represented England at youth level and was part of the team that won the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in 2017.
