Pettitte now slated to face Cubs

PHILADELPHIA -- Andy Pettitte's next start for the Houston Astros has been pushed back two days because of a sore left elbow.

Pettitte is now scheduled to pitch against the Chicago Cubs on
Saturday. Carlos Hernandez will start against Philadelphia on
Thursday in Pettitte's original spot.

Pettitte has been on the disabled list twice this year in his
first season with the hometown Astros. He's also pitching with a
small tear in a tendon in his left elbow, an injury sustained while
batting in his first start of the season.

In December, Pettitte left the New York Yankees to sign a $31.5 million, three-year contract with Houston. He is 6-4 with a 3.90
ERA in 15 starts for the Astros, who have had a disappointing
season after coming in with high expectations.
