Jaguars coach Doug Marrone has raved about QB Gardner Minshew taking what he's learned in the meeting room and immediately doing it correctly on the practice field. Apparently, he should be thanking Minshew's parents – Flint and Kim – for that. “I think part of it's being raised right,” Minshew said. “You know, you've got parents and when they tell you to do something you do it. So any time somebody tells me to do something from an authority position I'm going to do it to the best of my ability. So I think more than anything it's just respect for the coaches and commitment to the craft.”

In going back over everything, this quote by Jaguars coach Doug Marrone, about injuries to Nick Foles and Cam Robinson, still stands out from today: "S - - - happens! What are you gonna do? You gotta lead. It's easy to sit here, and woe is me and all that s - - -. I'm fired up for the challenge."

This might be the most popular place at TIAA Bank Field today. Temperature in Jacksonville is forecast to be 98 degrees with a heat index near 105. Fans, misters and an air conditioned bus where people can sit for a while will help.
