Match Commentary

81'Analysis from our reporter Jamie Braidwood at Murrayfield: "The second half was nowhere near as entertaining as the first, but South Africa will not care a jot after securing a hugely impressive away win. The Springboks successfully shut Scotland's attack down after the break, limiting the home side to just one second-half penalty, and defended bravely inside their own 22 in the final stages to protect their win."

41' Kick-off: Scotland 17-20 South Africa
41'The players are back out for the second half at Murrayfield.
41'From our reporter Jamie Braidwood at Murrayfield: "The home side have had the majority of possession but it is South Africa who lead at halftime. Scotland are a side who play on the edge and were punished after loose play led to two breakaway tries for the clinical Springboks. But through two tries of their own, we've also seen how effective Scotland's open, expansive play can be. Huw Jones' behind-the-back pass to setup Peter Horne was stunning, as was Stuart Hogg's bursting run to set up Hamish Watson?s score from the lineout.
