The Franchise QBs: Final rankings of the top signal-callers in Bengals history

We've identified the top all-time quarterbacks for every NFL team, and asked our NFL Nation beat reporters -- and you, the fans -- to help us determine each signal-caller's place in franchise history.

What follows is the final ranking of the top quarterbacks in Cincinnati Bengals history, both from our NFL Nation reporter and our final fan polling.

NFL Nation ranking:

1. Ken Anderson

2. Boomer Esiason

3. Carson Palmer

4. Andy Dalton

5. Jeff Blake

It's a toss-up by some as to whether Anderson or Esiason, the only Bengals' QBs to make a Super Bowl, should lead this list. Anderson gets the nod due to longevity (16 seasons) and because he still holds Bengals' records for passing yards, touchdowns, attempts and completions. Dalton is rapidly creeping up on Palmer, who changed the fortunes of the team by taking them to their first playoff game in 15 years. Blake often flies under the radar because he was under center during some of the Bengals' worst years in the 90s. His 1995 Pro Bowl season, however, still stands out. -- Katherine Terrell
