Jocelyn Willoughby had her 10th double-double of the season and Dominique Toussaint added 11 points and eight assists to help No. 12 seed Virginia beat Boston College 77-61 on Wednesday in the first round of the ACC tournament.

BC hires Bernabei-McNamee as women's coach

Joanna Bernabei-McNamee, who spent the past two seasons at Albany, will replace Erik Johnson as the new women's basketball coach at Boston College.

Now is as good a time as any to unveil our ACC preseason position rankings. Today, we rank the front seven.

Two undrafted rookies I've heard good things about: Nose tackle Antwaun Woods from USC and defensive end Mehdi Abdesmad from Boston College. Woods is the sort of space eater they expected he'd be. Abdesmad is 6-foot-6 and could provide cheaper height than Ropati Pitoitua as a base player who can bat some passes down.
