Jessica Ennis-Hill has withdrawn from this weekends' athletics meeting in Birmingham.
The London 2012 heptathlon champion had been due to compete at the Diamond League event as she continues her comeback from the birth of her first child and a serious Achilles injury.
Ennis-Hill, 29, returned to competition for the first time at the Hypo-Meeting in Gotzis, Austria last week, her first competitive heptathlon since winning gold at the Olympic Stadium nearly three years ago.
However, British Athletics announced on Twitter than Ennis-Hill would be pulling out of the event after her effort in Austria last week.
Unfortunately @J_Ennis has withdrawn from the @sainsburys #BirminghamGP following her exertions in Gotzis last weekend.

Ennis-Hill finished fourth in Gotzis to secure qualification for the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Her score of 6,520 points was 320 more than tally of 6,200 needed to qualify for next year's Games. The fourth-place finish was also enough to qualify for this summer's World Championships in Beijing.
