Don't look now, but the Baltimore Orioles have won five of their last six games. If they to continue to win five of every six for the remainder of the season, the O's -- who currently sit six games behind the Rangers for the second AL wild card spot --would finish with 85 or 86 wins, which just might be good enough to sneak into the second AL wild-card spot. In related news, if my Aunt Susan had a moustache, she'd be my Uncle Susan.

In the meantime, here's some numerical food for thought heading into Tuesday's tilt with the visiting Red Sox (Joe Kelley vs. Ubaldo Jimenez).

1 -- Where Gerardo Parra will hit in the batting order on Tuesday. It marks the first time that Parra -- who has a .251 OBP since coming to Baltimore and hasn't drawn a walk since Aug. 23 -- will bat leadoff for the O's.

2 -- Number of times this season that Orioles starter Ubaldo Jimenez has walked more than four batters in an outing. Last year, he issued more than four free passes on 10 different occasions.

3 -- Number of hits by Chris Davis in five career at-bats against Red Sox starter Joe Kelly. Davis is the only current Oriole who has more than two hits off of Kelly.

4 -- Number of players recalled by the Orioles today, including right handed pitchers Oliver Drake and Tyler Wilson, outfielder Junior Lake, and first baseman Christian Walker.

5 -- Number of extra base hits by Pablo Sandoval in 36 career at-bats against Jimenez. Lifetime, Sandoval is hitting .361 off Jimenez with an OPS of 1.049.

6 -- Number of games above .500 that the Orioles currently sit in the season series with the Red Sox (10-4), guaranteeing them of their fourth straight year with a winning record against Boston.

7 -- Number of home runs hit by Jonathan Schoop since Aug. 1, more than any second baseman in the majors.

8 -- Approximate ERA of Jimenez (8.06, to be exact) in nine career starts against Boston, his highest against any American League team.

9 -- Where Steve Pearce will hit in Tuesday's lineup. It's the first time in over two years (8/27/15) that he's started a game in the 9-hole. In 13 starts batting ninth for Baltimore, Pearce is has a .194 average.

10 -- Number of walks drawn by Chris Davis in September, tied for second-most in the American League (Carlos Santana, 12).
