CHICAGO -- Chicago Cubs catcher Welington Castillo has been scratched from Friday’s game against the Pittsburgh Pirates due to lower back tightness, according to the team.

Castillo joins veteran teammates Anthony Rizzo (back) and Starlin Castro (ankle) on the sidelines. Those three players are the only remaining starters on the team from Opening Day. Friday’s lineup includes just two players, John Baker and Luis Valbuena, who were even on the roster back in April.
