Sources: Mavs agree to deal with John Jenkins

Geoff Burke/USA TODAY Sports

Shooting guard John Jenkins agreed to a partially guaranteed three-year contract with the Dallas Mavericks, sources said.

The 23rd overall pick from the 2012 NBA draft will make the veteran's minimum, according to sources, with his salary fully guaranteed for the 2015-16 season and partially guaranteed the next two seasons.

Jenkins averaged 5.6 points in 13.8 minutes per game during his three seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. He has a career 3-point percentage of 37.5, including 40.4 percent last season.

RealGM.com first reported that the Mavs and Jenkins had agreed to a deal.
