N.Y. Week 4 POWERADE baseball rankings

After games on Saturday, April 28

New York City's teams continue to impress as the regular season draws closer to the playoffs. Grand Street Campus has shown its resilience, coming back to beat Telecommunications last week, as well as its scoring potential behind its wealth of talent in the likes of Jose Cuas and Kevin Martir.

The same goes for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, which saw pitcher Brian Russell fan 17 batters in eight innings en route to a 1-0 win against Cardinal Spelman, and Poly Prep, which looks like the team most expected the Blue Devils to be by winning six straight, including a victory that featured a no-hitter by Andrew Zapata.

Here are this week's rankings (last week's rankings in parentheses):

1. Grand Street Campus (Brooklyn) 9-1 (1)

Beat Telecommunications and Lafayette to extend its win streak in league play.

2. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island) 6-0 (2)

3. Xaverian (Brooklyn) 9-2 (3)
