Sports: Basketball, football, baseball Sports highlights: Cade is a three-time letterwinner and a two-year starter in basketball as a guard. A two-time team co-captain, he earned All-Big Eight Conference second-team and All-Area honorable mention honors as a junior, averaging 12.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and also was named to the All-Tournament team at the Farm Bureau Classic in Spartanburg, S.C. The Spartans shared the Big Eight Conference title and advanced to the WIAA Division 1 state semifinals his sophomore year. He is a two-time letterwinner and a two-year starter as a wide receiver and kick returner in football. He also played quarterback and defensive back. As a senior, he earned All-Area third-team, All-Big Eight Conference second-team and All-City honors as a wide receiver. He caught 26 passes for 364 yards and five touchdowns and also returned a kickoff for a touchdown for the Spartans, who were co-Big Eight Conference champions. His junior year, he received Scout Team Player of the Year. He also played baseball as a sophomore on the JV at second base.
