SANTA MONICA, Calif. -- The new Nike Basketball Academy featured over 60 of the nation’s most promising players participating in a four-day camp format. Players were broken down by position and ability for skill work and drill competition, and games were played during the night session. Nike’s best NBA pros were on hand to lend insight and advice, as well as teaching the game and playing alongside the campers. Appearances included the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, James Harden, Paul George, Chris Paul, DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis. The most important takeaways from the event:
