Florida State has done a terrific job recruiting under coach Jimbo Fisher, so it comes as no surprise that the Seminoles had the best signing class in the ACC once again in 2014.
ESPN RecruitingNation pegged the Seminoles with the No. 3 class in America, filling big-time needs at receiver, on the offensive line and at quarterback. Miami also landed in the top 10 again, with the No. 10 overall class, while Clemson continued its impressive recruiting efforts under coach Dabo Swinney, finishing with the No. 12 class.

Seven schools ranked in the top 40 of the overall rankings, and all 14 ACC schools were among the top 63 schools ranked. That is a claim the Pac-12 and Big Ten cannot make. Top to bottom, it seems the ACC did a solid job. Even the schools ranked at the bottom in the ACC still did some great work on signing day.
Duke picked up its first-ever ESPN 300 player in receiver Trevon Lee; Georgia Tech signed ESPN 300 athlete Myles Autry; Syracuse put together a very strong class with three four-star players and a former Miami commitment in quarterback Alin Edouard; and new Wake Forest coach Dave Clawson did well in a short time on the job, signing a class headlined by four-star receiver Kameron Uter, a Vanderbilt flip.
