UA jersey tour: Deontay Anderson

The Under Armour All-America Game jersey tour sponsored by American Family Insurance stopped by Manvel (Texas) High School to officially welcome Deontay Anderson to the game.

"It's a blessing," Anderson said. "It's a dream come true. I've been thinking about this ever since I was little."

Anderson, the nation's No. 2 safety, has been one of the most sought-after prospects in this class and his recruitment is only going to ramp up over the next few months as he heads toward a signing day decision. The 6-foot-1, 202-pound safety said he will wait until January to take his official visits, when he will trip to Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and LSU, in that order.

"I'm going to take it all in, see what fits me and I'll know," Anderson said of taking several trips close together and right before making a commitment.

Anderson said playing time, the strength of the degree and the environment of the school will play significant roles in his decision and that his decision will come down to those four programs he plans to visit.
