          Braden Smith (Olathe, Kan./Olathe South) has been a recruiting enigma, keeping his favorite teams close to the chest. On Wednesday, the ESPN 300 offensive lineman gave Auburn his verbal pledge on ESPNU.

          A 6-foot-6, 290-pound lineman and considered the top-ranked player in Kansas, Smith chose the Tigers over TCU and Texas A&M. He is ranked No. 127 in the ESPN 300 and is the No. 9 offensive guard in the country.
