Tate Martell removed himself from the list of 2017 uncommitted quarterbacks on Thursday evening, as the nation’s No. 32 overall prospect announced his commitment to Texas A&M.

While quarterback dominoes usually begin falling in earnest during the spring of the players' junior year, the 2017 class appears to be moving that timeline forward, as already, nine ESPN Junior 300 quarterback prospects have made commitments. By comparison, of the 23 ESPN 300 quarterbacks in the 2016 class, just three had committed to their current school before their junior seasons began.
