Wednesday's games

Detroit Pistons at Boston Celtics (-9.5, 218)

Schultz: The emergence of Jaylen Brown as a bona fide All-Star is a threat Detroit lacks an answer for. The fourth-year forward out of Cal is averaging career-bests across the board, including points (19.9), rebounds (6.7), assists and field goal percentage. Kemba Walker also continues to produce at an All-NBA-caliber level. With injuries to Blake Griffin, Reggie Jackson and the much-improved Luke Kennard, expect the Pistons -- who've been awful on the road -- to find themselves in a world of hurt at TD Garden.
