Which college football programs have the best defensive back situations heading into 2019? The top team lost a first-team All-American but brought in a top-rated freshman. Here are the top 15.

1. LSU Tigers

The Tigers were listed as my No. 4 defensive back unit a year ago, and deservedly so, with three starters returning. LSU did not disappoint, finishing third overall in my pass defense ratings. This year, the Tigers lose first-team All-American Greedy Williams (second-round NFL draft pick) but return outstanding safety Grant Delpit (74 tackles, nine pass breakups in 2018).
