The recruiter power rankings examine which assistant coaches have already done damage on the recruiting trail in the 2015 class. Beyond looking at how many four- or five-star recruits a coach lands, the rankings take into account the needs those recruits will fill at the next level. The previous rankings had Alabama's Mario Cristobal at the top of the list. Was he able to remain at No. 1 and how many new entries are there to the rankings?
It's been a busy two months since the last update of the ESPN recruiter power rankings. More than 200 players in the ESPN 300 have made their commitments and 44 programs across the country already have more than 15 commitments, with South Carolina already having a whopping 28. Here's where things stand.

What he's done: Looking for a reason why some rival recruiters are calling Alabama's 2015 class the best class in the past 15 years? Then turn to the job Cristobal, the Crimson Tide's offensive line coach, has done so far. While he's been somewhat quiet over the summer, helping lure ESPN 300 offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy to Tuscaloosa further beefed up his résumé. Overall, Cristobal has had a hand in landing seven ESPN 300 prospects and was the lead recruiter on Ridley, the No. 1 receiver in America. He also went into New Jersey to help the Tide land No. 27 overall and No. 4 cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick.
What's he working on now: Cristobal has already done enough to possibly sew up the top spot all the way to signing day, but he still has plenty left on the board. He's the primary recruiter for offensive tackle Martez Ivey, the No. 3 player in the country, and defensive tackle Daron Payne, No. 42 in the rankings.
