This concludes today's play. Thank you for tuning in. I hope you enjoyed the red ball cricket. Please join us again tomorrow at the same hour. Until then, this is Rashad, signing off on behalf of Ekanth and Chetan.

5:35 pm So that concludes Day 1's play. Zimbabwe ends the day with 188 runs behind. Ireland staged a spectacular comeback to the match after losing five wickets in the opening hour of the day. Credit belongs to Tucker, McBrine, and Adair. Mostly McBrine, who was stranded alone at the non-striker's end in his 90s. Muzarabani took seven wickets and led Zimbabwe's bowling group. Curran, Zimbabwe's opener, was dismissed after edging a widish length ball back to the wicketkeeper. After then, Kaitano and Welch batted steadily and with caution for the remainder of the day. The surface has become pretty flat in comparison to the start of the day, although the spinners have had plenty of turn and bounce later in the day. McCarthy claimed the sole wicket today for the Ireland team.
