- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.2 taken at mid-on! Tanzid looks to repeat the shot from the previous ball, but this delivery from Ghazanfar dipped on a full length just outside off instead of being a full toss like last ball. Nabi took this with his hands raised up, as Tanzid again went slogging across the line, but this time got it off the bottom of the bat 28/118.5 a celebrappeal by Rashid, and the umpire obliges! That looked pretty adjacent, and Rashid gives Sarkar a bit of a send-off too! Another fizzy delivery that pitches on a length on leg stump and skids on. Sarkar, like earlier in the over, gets trapped on the crease. Plays all over it and the ball smashes into his pads. Sarkar did show up his bat but the dual noise was of the ball hitting both pads. Chats to his skipper and then decides to walk off. Did not look like he hit it and once that was out of the way, it seemed pretty dead. Well, scratch that. Because Ball Tracking reckons the ball had pitched just outside leg. How crucial could that non-review be?! 99/240.2 a rush of blood, and Shanto, after that mini-break, perishes! Given a bit of air outside off. Shanto thinks he can pop this downtown and advances. Cuts across his swing too much, though, and arrows it straight down Nabi's throat at long off. Shanto is distraught as he trudges off, and this is a vital, vital wicket for Afghanistan! 183/532.4 bowled him! The googly gets rid of Mehidy, and breaks a crucial partnership just after drinks. It was a nice delivery, as he tossed it up, and got it to dip on a length just about outside off. The ball turned in sharply and even bounced well, as Mehidy, while looking to slash at it, seemed cramped for room. The ball ended up hitting the top of middle stump 152/338.1 miscued and taken at deep backward square leg! Slightly slower on a length on middle and leg. Hridoy's eyes light up and he gets down on one knee. Swipes at it with all his might but the ball holds up in the surface just enough to induce a top-edge. Atal settles under it and makes no mistake. Hridoy departs without giving Bangladesh the impetus they crave! 174/440.5 long off in play again, and long off takes it again! Two in the over, three for Kharote in total and Bangladesh lose another! This is on a length outside off and Mahmudullah, trying to counter-attack after Shanto's' dismissal, hares down the track. Gets a good piece of it but it is not good enough to clear Omarzai. He stands right on the fence, extends his arms fully and takes it above his head. Afghanistan in the ascendancy! 184/647.4 Ghazanfar outwits Nasum, and has the last laugh! Carrom ball that is bowled a touch slower and much shorter outside off. Nasum tries to mow it across the line but swings way too early. The ball squirms past his flailing blade and then kisses the outside of off stump. Ghazanfar liked that, and in the context of the game, that could be a crucial scalp! 230/7Extras19 (b 1, lb 5, w 13)TOTAL252/7 (50 Overs, RR: 5.04)Fall of wickets: 1-28 (Tanzid Hasan, 3.2 ov), 2-99 (Soumya Sarkar, 18.5 ov), 3-152 (Mehidy Hasan Miraz, 32.4 ov), 4-174 (Towhid Hridoy, 38.1 ov), 5-183 (Najmul Hossain Shanto, 40.2 ov), 6-184 (Mahmudullah, 40.5 ov), 7-230 (Nasum Ahmed, 47.4 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.3 taken at wide slip! The ball almost flew off Gurbaz's bat, and Soumya took a nice catch. He stretched his hands out to his right, as the ball went high and very quickly to him. Taskin bowled on a length, and good bounce off the pitch. The line was wide outside off, though, and Gurbaz went slashing, but got a top edge. Taskin gets a wicket, and kind of makes up for those five wides earlier in this over 18/116.1 and Nasum has taken a wicket immediately, with a huge helping hand from Mehidy Hasan Miraz! Darted in on a length on the pads. Atal shapes for the sweep and absolutely nails it. The only problem, though, is that he hits it uppishly and in Mehidy's general direction. Mehidy times his jump to perfection and plucks it out of thin air, getting both hands to a ball that was hurtling along. Crucial breakthrough for Bangladesh, and it is a moment of magic from Mehidy that has fashioned it! 70/229.5 terrible mix-up, and a run-out this time! Rahmat, the set batter, has to depart. This is what happened: Nasum bowled on a length, and just outside off. The ball kept low, and was punched by Naib towards extra cover. Naib called for a single, and took off, as did Rahmat from the other end. But midway into that attempted run, Naib was only looking at the fielder, even as Rahmat kept running forward. So both Rahmat and Naib ran towards the striker's end. Although the throw went to the wicketkeeper, there was a lot of time left for Jaker to throw it back to Nasum, who whipped the bails off. Bangladesh having fun out there 119/528.6 taken at a straightish fine leg! Shoriful was placed only a step or two inside the boundary, and took the ball with a reverse cup. Mustafizur bowled it short and around off, as Shahidi swivelled and pulled. But the ball went off the higher side of the bat for Shoriful to grab. His position of a straighter-than-usual fine leg helped, as Bangladesh get the breakthrough 118/329.2 bowled him! Beautiful ball! Omarzai falls for his second duck in a row. Bowled with a horizontal seam, Nasum drifted it in, and landed it on a length on middle. He had slowed the pace down too, as the ball turned away and hit off stump, beating Omarzai's attempted front-foot defence. The change of bowling works for Bangladesh, who now have two quick wickets 119/436.4 straight to Hridoy at extra cover, and Shoriful is pumped! Length outside off and Naib thinks this is full enough to drive. He cannot get on top of it, though, and that means he drives it uppishly. Could not have picked out Hridoy better and the range of emotions are clear. Shoriful roars in delight; Naib admonishes himself in disappointment. A potentially decisive moment in this game! 163/637.3 hot knife through butter, and catch Mehidy if you can on his celebratory run! Tossed up beautifully on a length outside off. Drops devilishly and Nabi, despite coming forward, is nowhere to the pitch of the ball. It then grips in the surface and rags into Nabi, breezing through the gap between bat and pad, and smashing into the stumps. Nabi cannot believe what has just happened; Bangladesh, meanwhile, believe this game could finally be turning in their favour! 165/742.6 Rashid bites the dust, and is that the game?! Throws in another cutter, wide outside off, asking Rashid to fetch it. Once it was that full, Rashid was always going to take up the challenge but he comes up second-best, quite comfortably too. Right off the toe-end and Mahmudullah, well inside the long off fence, snares the chance. Rashid throws his head back in disappointment and makes the slow and long walk back. Bangladesh on the brink of a victory! 184/941.1 stumped by a country mile! Dangles the carrot outside off and Kharote bites. He looks at the air and tears down the track. Gets nowhere close to the pitch, because Mehidy has the ball on a string and knows exactly when to get it to dip. Spins past Kharote's wild slog and Jaker does the rest behind the stumps. Rashid is livid at the other end, and Bangladesh keep chipping away! 181/843.3 stumps shattered, history created, and we are going to a decider in Sharjah on Monday! This is a touch slower and a smidgen fuller, which brings the stumps into play. Ghazanfar, like the previous two balls, has a mow across the line. Misses it completely and the ball thunders into the middle of middle stump. A piece of history for Bangladesh too, who register their first win in Sharjah - a victory that was 34 years in the making, having first played at this venue in 1990! 184/10Extras12 (lb 1, w 11)TOTAL184 all out (43.3 Overs, RR: 4.22)Fall of wickets: 1-18 (Rahmanullah Gurbaz, 3.3 ov), 2-70 (Sediqullah Atal, 16.1 ov), 3-118 (Hashmatullah Shahidi, 28.6 ov), 4-119 (Azmatullah Omarzai, 29.2 ov), 5-119 (Rahmat Shah, 29.5 ov), 6-163 (Gulbadin Naib, 36.4 ov), 7-165 (Mohammad Nabi, 37.3 ov), 8-181 (Nangeyalia Kharote, 41.1 ov), 9-184 (Rashid Khan, 42.6 ov), 10-184 (AM Ghazanfar, 43.3 ov)
