10.50pm Buttler receives the series trophy, and England claim the first spoils of their winter tour. That's it for now. Thanks for all your comments, have a read of David Hopps' match report, and we'll see you again for the first Test next week.

10.42pm Adil Rashid is Man of the Match: "It was a bit tasty there. Sometimes the bad balls get the wickets but we were trying to be confident, have a positive mindset." A man of few words.

The Man of the Series is Ben Stokes. "We left it open in the second game but took it right to the end and won it comfortably in the end. These are small steps in what we want to accomplish as a team. I'm starting to pay back the team with runs, want to take it on to India and perform there as well. Me and Jos work well, quite aggressive with bat and ball, and with our field placings. The team we've had together in the last 18 months has proved a lot of people wrong, and if we keep going we'll achieve our target of being No.1 in the world."

Mashrafe Mortaza is disappointed to have lost. "There was a lot of dew at the end and our spinners couldn't turn the ball. But England were too good. We played really well, some young players stepped up, Imrul and Tamim played well and Mushfiq returned to form."

Jos Buttler: "Physically and mentally we've stood up. We wanted to set the tone and our opening partnership set up the run chase. We could have won by seven or eight wickets. Sam Billings played fantastically well, and Ben Duckett too in his maiden series. I've been calling heads consistently and it's landed right."

10.37pm Hakim Ahmadzai: "This young England side proved to be thier best ODI side they have ever had. They played fantastic cricket in very different conditions, all credit goes to them & I am happy for thier young stand in Captain Buttler. Bangladesh also played some very good cricket over all, but they have to work a lot on thier behavior on the feild." They have certainly found some mighty fine characters. So many worthy candidates for selection. Hales and Morgan will have to justify their recalls in India.

Akhtar: "What happens to Bangladesh ICC ODI Ranking? Do they loose any points? If so how many?" It won't change much. They currently lead Pakistan by seven points, and haven't lost much ground thanks to their win in the second ODI.

10.30pm So, to England go the spoils. The highest run-chase ever pulled off in Chittagong, and paced to near-perfection, thanks to half-centuries from Sam Billings and Ben Duckett, and a cool finisher's role from Ben Stokes. Handshakes all round - that's good to see after the run-ins at Dhaka, and well earned on both sides. England know they've been in a battle in this past week.

Groucho: "Didn't Moeen say Bangladesh would suffer from the pressure if it's a tight match? Very wise, that man." He did, and he was vindicated. Though his own shot didn't do a huge amount for his argument!

Salman Ahmed Sh: "England should have won 3-0 given their form after the World Cup. But, they will take 2-1 in the absence of their Captain. It is Bangladesh's first ODI series loss in the last two and half years at the home ground." Indeed, and but for their catatonic collapse in the first ODI, it could well have been them with the 2-1 scoreline.

Taskin Ahmed to Woakes, FOUR, driven in the air, but too much power to be stopped by a flying short cover! Drama all over the shop, but England emerge with the upper hand

Taskin Ahmed to Woakes, no run, dropped! Is that the series, there and then?! Mashrafe brought the slip into place, and Imrul got the chance that his country needed. But he muffed it! Chest height, and eminently catchable

Taskin Ahmed to Woakes, FOUR, what a strike! A big stride and spanked triumphantly through the covers! I can hear my ears pop as Chittagong draws all of the air out of the stadium

Shafiul Islam to Woakes, 1 run, outside off, and worked off a thick edge to third man. Excellent bowling. Shafiul has one more to come, and another of that tightness will make things very interesting!

Shafiul Islam to Woakes, no run, well bowled again, a loose drive from Woakes and he's beaten again. This is turning into a fine over. Can Shafiul close it out?

Shafiul Islam to Woakes, no run, lovely bowling, an offcutter, and nibbles through the gate and just past off stump. So close!

CricBellz: "The loudest in the whole stadium is the Mushfiqur behind the stumps, one can clearly listen him and the commentators sound like sitting in a quiet radio studio doing late night show :D"

Shafiul Islam to Stokes, 1 run, clubbed to long-on for another single
