England win by nine wickets and take the series 4-0. Rarely can a chase of 288 have been made to look so easy. There is such a gulf between these sides. It's been a difficult few days for England (and English cricket) but the team has kept its focus impressively. Bairstow rightly takes a standing ovation as he walks off, the final moment of the longest English season ever. England stumbled in the Champions Trophy, but overall a season of plenty of success. We'll stay with you for the presentations shortly.

Divyamsh: "What is the next fixture scheduled in England?" Brisbane, November 23, if you need reminding (if you don't count the warm-ups).

Presentation time...Man of the Match is Jonny Bairstow. "Pretty pleased, nice to finish a pretty long summer with some runs and head away with some confidence. Your first hundred is so important and you want to go from there. If selection doesn't go your way you have to bide your time and take your opportunity. Rest now, a couple of weeks off, back in the gym before we go away."

Player of the series is Moeen Ali. "I've just tried to ride the wave, work as hard as I could, and this summer it's paid off. I always look for the short boundary as much as I can! Not always easy batting at seven and eight. Adil takes a lot more wickets, I just try to bowl as tight as I can - didn't always work this series. I can't wait for Australia."

Jason Mohammed "In the bowling department it went wrong, we never had them under pressure. The bowlers we have are wicket-takers but it just wasn't happening in this game. Not much we could have done, we didn't find consistent areas at any point in time. In the middle part of the innings there was a lot of dot balls which is something we have to work on. With some of the senior guys back hopefully we can get the combination right and qualify for the World Cup."

Eoin Morgan "Extremely proud, it's been an incredibly long summer. We let ourselves down in one game in the Champions Trophy. Jonny really took his chance, Jason coming in as well. Fielding is an area we want to improve on. We took nothing lightly today and to win by nine wickets was excellent. We saw Tom in the T20s series and today was an outstanding debut. One aspect we have to bring into our game we have to work on the middle overs with the ball, get it moving sideways somehow, can't rely on our spinners. Our main focus is the World Cup in 2019, it's the biggest event we play. It's important we strive to improve."

Eoin Morgan lifts the trophy. And that just about wraps things up for tonight, this series and this season. It's been a pleasure to bring you the action over the last five months - those matches against Ireland in May feel a long time ago now! There are off-field issues to be resolved over the next period of time, but England will next be in action in Brisbane at the start of the Ashes. We'll be here for all that but, for now, from Gnasher, Alan and Miller it's goodbye and thanks for all your feedback over the season!
