12.4 edged and taken again. Another good catch from Kohli at slip. Jadeja takes out England's captain yet again. So much doubt was created with his previous over, some turned, some didn't. Jadeja pushes this one wider outside off, Cook gets forward and plays for more turn that there actually is. Gets a thick outside edge which carries low to Kohli's left. A two-handed grab sends Cook back again. A horror tour for Cook against Jadeja. Beaten by more than just this delivery. 21/2
5.2 edged and gone! Ishant strikes. Not the greatest delivery but the discipline of India's seamers may have resulted in the false stroke. Overpitched delivery outside off, Jennings drives at that with his feet slightly late to the pitch. Takes a thick outside edge which carries at hip height to Parthiv's left. A wicket down to patience? Jennings saw a scoring opportunity, and it was, but was just late on it 7/1
54.3 big appeal from Jadeja. Kohli thinks and thinks and reviews. So much doubt in the review decision. Flat and wide from Jadeja, Root gets low and sweeps. Is there bat on ball? Or bat on ground? One very discernible spike on UltraEdge. Looked like the spike was at a time when the bat was in the air, which is why the third umpire has changed the decision. The difference in time between the bat hitting the ground and the ball passing the bat was so less that there could have been a slight time lag. Or it was just bat on ground and then bat on ball. But there was just one spike on Ultra Edge. So it was either bat on ground or on ball. Root is not happy at all. There was bat on ground too. A successful review from India. That's interesting. It was also so thin that Root may not have felt the edge. 167/3

103.4 perishes to the short ball! Excellent plan from India. Although it took them a long time to decide on bouncing Moeen, their execution of it this morning has been very good. After fending at a couple, he goes for the pull again, but the ball is not right. It's outside off. It's rising up over his left shoulder, and with each inch it climbs, it makes the top-edge more probable. The batsman goes through with his shot, mistimes it, and is taken by Jadeja running to his left. Good man to have there, considering the ploy has been to bowl short 321/7
80.6 uh oh. Chips his wicket away. Bairstow falls for 49. Fale shot, loose shot. Tosses it up outside off, an innocuous half-volley outside off. Bairstow sees a run-scoring opportunity because it is so full. Drives hard but is through the stroke a tad early, the ball carries at hip height to Rahul at a shortish straight cover, who is more than delighted that he has held on. A great time for India to strike. They can easily neutralise the day in the next nine overs. 253/4
90.5 got 'im! The method was clear. He wanted the left-handers reaching forward. He knows there is turn in this pitch. All he had to do was slow it up to make Stokes reaches out thrusting at the ball Then the dip does him. Forward defence, but the batsman had no hope of reaching the pitch of the ball, and a faint edge goes through to the keeper. Nice catch from Parthiv too. 287/5
95.6 he's missed a straight ball! That looked so plumb that the non-striker says don't you dare review. Ishant goes full. Buttler should have been forward. Considering he wasn't, he shouldn't have played across the line towards midwicket. He made both mistakes. And he pays the price 300/6

145.1 nicked it. A bit too flash from Rash. He goes after a wide one, attempting to punch it behind point. But he isn't able to do so with the shortish ball bouncing just a touch more than the batsman expected. Came in as well. Easy catch to Parthiv 429/8
153.1 what is going on here? Has Broad run himself out?! Superb work from KL Rahul, down on the fine leg rope, Broad was turning to try and run a third but got in a tangle as he then attempted to get back and ended up diving despairingly for his ground. Rahul had picked up on the run and then did a little alley-oop in the air as he jumped over the rope, hurled it back in as Dawson belatedly sent Broad back and Parthiv smartly finished it off 455/9

157.2 bowled him, the Bosie does it! Lands the wrong'un just where he wanted it and Ball, hanging back, is beaten wafting down the wrong line, hits off stump. A ticklish last-wicket stand of 22 is snuffed out and finally, after 157.2 overs, India will get to have a bat 477/10

102.3 he's lobbed a catch to cover point and crumples up in a heap! Hands on his head. Into a crouch. Horrified at what he's done. It was a slow, loopy delivery, well wide of off stump. Rahul thought there was runs. He goes after it, thought it was overpitched, but it isn't. So it can turn. It can take a top-edge of sorts instead of the middle and balloons over to Buttler. Has to drag himself off the field, his hands still on his head, clutching the bat too. Brilliant innings. 372/4
41.5 you little beauty! Moeen gets one to turn and turn just enough to enact Parthiv's undoing. Brave of him to repeat the ball that was hit to the boundary. This time though it's slower. And because it hangs in the air, and dips at the last moment, the batsman seems to panic. He's down the track and has commited himself to hitting against the turn. The line was on leg stump, he's forced to. Swings his bat, looking for the midwicket boundary again and gets a leading edge to cover 152/1
50.5 got him, Pujara steers to slip! No change in the volume of noise around the stadium - in fact, it might have gone up a notch, as they realise Kohli is in next... Stokes has got just a hint of reverse here, he's persuaded Pujara to follow the ball outside off, back of a length and thick-edged into the grateful hands of Cook at slip. You wait all morning for Godot and then two turn up in quick succession! 181/2
60.4 oh, chipped to extra cover - Kohli's gone! A mere mortal after all... Broad got him driving, possibly a bit of cut on the ball and it hit high up the bat, flew tamely straight to the man stationed for the catch. England are cock-a-hoop as Kohli drags himself off - that's the first time he has been dismissed for less than 40 in the series. Cook finally gets his man 211/3

123.4 pinned him in front. First wicket for Dawson! Lovely delivery too. It hustled off the pitch, and came into the right-hander. Vijay was set up for a flick, waiting for the Chennai pitch to take the bite out of the ball, and make it come slow at him. It doesn't. Hit his pad low right in front of middle. But wait... there's a review. Doubt he's going to be saved. The only thing that could have done so was if he had hit it. And considering Vijay had gone down to his partner to check before calling for DRS indicates he thinks he didn't nick it. So they're playing on the possiblity of the ball missing the stumps. And it is not. Three reds. 435/5
170.4 taken, brilliant catch in the gully! Buttler flings himself to his left and holds on one-handed, inches above the turf... Takes a moment for anyone to realise what has happened but Ashwin knew, his back-foot guide was in the air and slightly too close to the fielder. After 170 overs and with England approaching the point of no return, Buttler pulls off a blinder to remove the local boy 616/6
189.5 heaved to the man at long-on, good catch from Ball, moving across to his left and diving. Length ball, looks to biff it. Doesn't quite time it. They've also crossed, so Nair will be on strike on 299. 754/7

39.4 caught at leg slip! It's always a dangerous area for Cook, with his urge to walk across his stumps. In the end, he's flapped his bat at the ball almost as an afterthought, and deflected a sharp edge into leg-slip's breadbasket. And that is the sixth time that Cook has fallen to Jadeja in this series, which I do believe equals the record ... 103/1
43.4 that's the breakthrough! Jennings on the move again, skipping down the pitch to disrupt the length, but he succeeds only in chipping a catch back to the bowler! 110/2
49.6 big appeal as Root goes down on one knee to sweep, and after a long consultation, Kohli reviews! There's no bat involved, and it was very full ... and hitting leg stump too! It was the length that did for him, too full for the shot, and it gripped just enough after pitching to hold its line. A poor choice of shot to end Root's interest in the series, and renew India's in the match! 126/3
71.2 urgh. That was a revolting heave from Moeen, and another lackadaisical dismissal. The drip, drip pressure does it for Jadeja, a filthy slog and a simple catch for Ashwin at mid-on. And England are now in deep, deep, deep, doo-doo 192/5
52.2 Ishant goes full instead, Bairstow flicks to leg... but it goes straight up in the air... and Jadeja takes a BRILLIANT catch running back! What a moment in the match and he made it look so easy. England are four down and Bairstow won't be breaking Vaughan's record either. It was a misbegotten stroke, flipped high towards deep midwicket but Jadeja was immediately sprinting after it, watched the ball down over his shoulder and took it in both hands on the run. Superb work! 129/4
73.2 gottim, another falls! Stokes closes the face on a tuck to leg and only succeeds in popping it straight off the face into the grateful hands of midwicket. Five for Jadeja and the walls after closing in for England 193/6

74.6 that's the googly - and that is bowled! Dawson leaves a gap as he attempts to drive and the ball spins sweetly through the gate to hit the off bail! Vindication for Mishra and India have another, three away from 4-0! 196/7
80.4 full and straight, Rashid tries to work to leg, gets a leading edge - flies to point! India have another, "safe hands" Jadeja pouches it in front of his face and the gambit pays off for Kohli, once again! Rashid looks at the floor, didn't need to anything other than block it. But England are deep in the hole and there's a special kind of gravity there 200/8
87.3 loops up, taken at short leg... was there glove? Up goes the finger! I think Broad was starting to walk - though that's famously not his style. No need to review, it spat and turned off a length, clearing brushing the glove and ballooning to the close catcher. Off he walks and the dam looks just about fit to burst 207/9
87.6 gone, it's all over! England are flat on the canvas! Jadeja has seven, India have 4-0, England are beaten into the dust once again. Regulation dismissal as Ball pushed forwards and the edge was snapped up - one-handed by the triple-centurion Nair - before the stadium erupted. Best figures and a maiden ten-for for Jadeja, who's really turned it on today to seal a wonderful series for the home side 207/10
