Player of the Match

That's all from our side for this game. Thanks for joining us and see you soon.

Holder: Very good victory. Sunil Ambris put us in command. It was one of those wickets where you have to see how it plays. What pleased me more is we batted till the end.

Porterfield: The wicket was a bit slow to start with. Balbirnie has been in great form for us. We were in with a great chance at the half time but you have to give the credit to the opposition as well.

Sunil Ambris is the Player of the Match. "The second time I was given the opportunity to bat at that position," he says. "The wicket was a bit slow at first but once I got in, it was a smooth sailing after that. Performances never go unnoticed."

Time for the presentation ceremony.

6.20pm A five-wicket win for West Indies as they return to winning ways after being beaten by Bangladesh in the last game. Ambris was the star with 148 off 126. He was well-supported by Chase and then Carter. Holder ensured there were no late surprised with 24-ball 36 as West Indies romped him with 13 balls to spare.

Rankin to Carter, FOUR, fuller and angling across, Carter looks to run it down to third man, gets an outside edge that just evades the wicketkeeper, and that's victory for West Indies, their highest successful chase in ODIs. Also, it's only the second time they have chased down a 300-plus total in ODIs

Rankin to Holder, OUT, fuller around off, Holder looks to finish it with a six, tries to repeat the shot from earlier in the over but it's a slower one and he can only sky it to Porterfield near mid-off

Jon: "Michael and AJ, yes he's made some mistakes but he's still young and learning. Who knows? maybe other captains would have done the same or worse but he can't exactly do much since he doesn't have the best squad. You can have the best strategy or plans but ultimately the players have to execute it so you can't put team failures on him only."

Anon06: "@Michael: Interesting squad. Forgot about Pierre. He definitely has the skill to be the lead spinner. But I think Pooran is too unproven to be at 5 in a WC squad. Would rather have Chase in there for stability while Hetmyer and Russell bats around him (but I'll still have Pooran in the 15). Holder for Carlos any day. Carlos is yet to do anything of note. And on current form, I'll play Ambris over Bravo."
