India win by six wickets with another superbly complete performance. From the moment they broke England's opening stand they have been in control. The spinners were impressive and their fielding very sharp. The home side were pretty clueless with the bat and did not offer much penetration with the ball although it was pleasing to see Steven Finn back in England colours. A lot of batsmen got in and didn't cash in during the match so Rayudu's unbeaten 64, after replacing Rohit Sharma, stands out. A very composed innings. Will be a strong contender for Man of the Match having also claimed a wicket. I'll bring you the presentation shortly.
SD: "England did all the hard work early on when they were batting. 82 for no loss is a really good start. But then played limply and were consumed by spin. And then they didn't have enough quality spin to trouble the Indians."
Presentation time...Alastair Cook "We didn't play very well. We had another good start and should have got more from 80 for none. We aren't doing it right in the middle of the innings at the moment. We have to keep working and try to improve otherwise we won't get enough runs. It's easier said than done, but we have to work our nuts off to get better. It was great to see Steven [Finn] back after where he was in Australia."
MS Dhoni "The spinners did it for us. Ashwin and Jadeja did really well, but it was also Suresh's spell after Mohit's injury. I never thought it would spin and in the back of my mind I was wary the ball wouldn't do a lot. Rayudu did very well, we are still looking for a No. 4 batsman and there are a few out there."
R Ashwin is Man of the Match ahead of Rayudu..."The downtime gave me some time to work on my bowling. I thought the wicket had some bounce, it was good to bowl on. Me and Jaddu have a good record against England which is a real help. I thought it [Raina's catch] was going for four but he plucked it out."
And that just about wraps things up for today. India how can't lose this series and will aim to secure it at Edgbaston on Tuesday. We'll bring you the action from there. For now, though, from Dev and Gnasher it's goodbye and thanks for joining us.
The batsman apologises to Buttler but it's four overthrows
