10.1 taken at second slip! The ball pitched on a good length around middle and seamed across the left-hander, Gayle stayed in his crease and pushed at the ball outside off stump with no footwork. He got a thick edge that flew straight to Vijay at second slip. That catch arrived at waist height, don't get many more straightforward than that in the slips 34/1
14.2 caught at mid-off! That's Shami's maiden Test match wicket! He delivered the first bouncer of the day outside off stump and Powell shaped to pull. He had to take that from quite wide outside off stump and he got an edge that lobbed up towards mid-off. Bhuvneshwar did well to run backwards from extra cover and take the catch 47/2
44.3 disaster for West Indies, Bravo's been run out! Chanderpaul's standing there with his hands on his hips. What on earth was Bravo doing? He nudged the ball off the pads behind square leg and sauntered down the pitch. There was no chance of a single there, Chanderpaul never ran and it was his call since the ball was behind square. Shami got to the ball quickly from short fine leg and by the time Bravo turned around, he had no chance. The throw to Dhoni's end was swift and the third umpire was not even needed. 138/4
43.5 middle stump's been knocked out of the ground! That ball seemed much quicker, it pitched on a length and cut back into the right-hander, a skiddy delivery. Samuels stayed in his crease and tried to drive through cover, leaving a gap between bat and pad. The ball went through it to hit the top of middle stump. Dhoni's drop has cost India only five runs 138/3
76.6 he's bowled him! Chanderpaul's played down the wrong line and the ball's clipped off stump. It was the quicker ball and it pitched outside off stump and skidded on while kolding its line, Chanderpaul played back and tried to defend. He just missed it. 233/9
45.2 Shami's done it again! The middle stump has been uprooted! He pitched once again on a good length outside off and swung back into the right-hander, Ramdin was cramped for room as he tried to cut and the ball beat the bat to crash into off stump. Looks like Shami's already reversing it, and he's having a splendid debut 143/5
50.4 oh Sammy, what have you done! Dhoni had placed a fielder at long-off but Sammy tried to clear him anyway with the lofted shot. The bat turned as the ball made contact and he ended up mis-hitting it straight to Bhuvneshwar. Pretty ordinary shot selection considering the situation, especially with the fielder in the deep. 172/6
62.4 lbw! Tendulkar has a wicket and Eden Gardens erupts. That was the ball that goes straight on. The flight was superb and the ball dipped on the right-hander too. Shillingford pushed forward to defend and was hit plumb in front. Tendulkar bowled a googly, bowled a legbreak and then got his man with a straight one. A terrific touch to this Test. That's tea by the way. 192/7
67.6 caught and bowled! Ashwin drew Permaul into the drive with a flighted ball that dipped on the right-hander. Permaul came forward but was beaten in flight and ended up chipping it straight back to the bowler 211/8

77.6 that's it, all over, Shami's battered the off stump again. Four wickets for him on debut. He swung a full ball into Cottrell, who closed the face and tried to play on the leg side. The ball beat the bat, bounced off the pad and uprooted off stump 234/10

14.4 well, he's gone this time, quite tentative from Dhawan, he was stuck on the crease as this length delivery spun away slightly from him, around off stump, he's pushed at it, and played on, it stayed a touch low, but that prod was very uncertain as well 42/1
20.4 lovely bowling, Shillingford has another one, he's lured Vijay out with a tossed up ball, Vijay did not pick the straighter one and has walked right past it, stranded without any chance 57/2
27.4 144kph, a terrific ball and Pujara's been caught trying to ramp the ball over the keeper! Cottrell banged the ball in short and the ball homed in at Pujara's head. He swayed back and tried to send the ball over the keeper by using his bat like a ramp. He managed to make contact but not enough contact and Ramdin took a simple catch 79/3
28.3 lbw! Shillingford has silenced Eden Gardens! He did him with the doosra, a delivery Tendulkar has had problems with in the past. The crowd gives him an ovation as he walks back but it's muted. Shillingford flighted the doosra and pitched it on middle, Tendulkar tried to defend from his crease, pushing forward, and the ball straightened past the outside edge and hit the back leg quite high. He's unlucky to be given after watching replays. The impact was too high, the ball would have gone over the top, but umpire Llong did not think so 82/4
30.2 India slide further! Kohli has been caught bat pad! But umpire Llong is checking to see if Shillingford's has overstepped. He hasn't! Kohli's gone and Shillingford has four. Kohli pushed forward to defend the offbreak and it lobbed up off the inside edge on to pad. Shillingford was off on a celebratory run even before the ball descended into the fielder's hands. Was there an inside edge? It's hard to tell. 83/5

123.1 Rohit's been given lbw after not playing a shot! He stands in his crease for a while before walking off slowly to loud applause from the crowd. He thrust his pad out at one that pitched around off and turned slightly away from the right hander. that might have missed off stump because the impact on the pad seemed to be just outside off. Rohit looked very disappointed at umpire Kettleborough's decision 436/7
51.1 the replacement ball has produced immediate results! Dhoni's nicked to the keeper! He was rooted to his crease as he opened up his stance and drove away from his body at a full ball outside off that shaped away from him a little. The thick edge flew comfortably to Ramdin. That was a poor shot from Dhoni. 156/6

126.3 bowled him! Shillingford has five wickets and the fifth has come after so much toil. He tossed the ball up on off and middle stump and Ashwin moved across his stumps to try and sweep. He was beaten in the flight and missed and the ball went on to hit middle. He leaves the field to warm applause too. Shillingford bowled 40 overs between his fourth and fifth wickets 444/8
128.1 what's happened here? Has Bhuvneshwar been caught at slip? Shillingford bowled a flighted offbreak that pitched outside off and spun into Bhuvneshwar, who came forward to defend. The ball bounced off the pad and looped towards Gayle at first slip, he stooped forward to catch the ball just before it hit the ground. The catch is clean, but did Bhuvneshwar edge it? I'm not sure he edged it but I think the umpires were checking if the catch was clean. So Bhunveshwar has to go. Hard to tell if there was an edge or not from the replays. 451/9
129.4 he's been stumped! Shami charged Permaul and slogged, he was beaten in the flight and the ball spun away from the right-hander to beat the bat, Ramdin collected cleanly and ended the Indian innings 453/10

9.6 caught at square leg! Gayle's played a poor shot. Bhuvneshwar pitched the ball short and angled it wide outside the off stump, Gayle tried to pull it from far outside off instead of trying to send it over point, and he got a top edge that lobbed up for Kohli to catch. Powell had been dismissed in similar fashion in the first innings 33/1
30.4 lbw! That's right in front. Ashwin flighted the ball into the left-hander from round the wicket, Powell could have been forward to that but he played back. The ball pitched around off and middle, straightened a little, and kept very low to beat Powell's defence and hit the pad. 101/2
34.3 caught at point! The well-set Bravo is gone to a loose shot. Ashwin pitched outside off and got the ball to bounce a bit more. Bravo went back to cut and hit it in the air, the fielder dived forward at point to take the catch as the ball dipped on him 120/4
31.6 lbw! After reversing the ball away from the right-hander, Shami swings it into him and hits Samuels on the knee roll of the front pad. That looked like it was missing leg stump but umpire Llong did not think so. Replays indicate it would have missed leg stump, considering how much it swung. Excellent variation from Shami though. 110/3

37.6 caught at short leg! Shami pitches on a length just outside off and swings it into the right-hander, cramping Ramdin for room as he defends from the crease. The ball takes the inside edge, and lobs up off the pad towards short leg, where Vijay catches it easily 125/5
48.2 Shami's done it again with reverse swing! He's battered middle stump. The ball pitched on a length outside off stump and jagged back viciously into the right-hander, Sammy was caught on the crease as he tried to defend and was beaten between bat and body. That ball kept a bit low too, considering the length it pitched, and skidded on to uproot middle stump 152/6
48.4 he's knocked another one over! Shami has eight in the Test. He bowled it full and reverse swung the ball back into Shillingford, who was half forward as he drove at the ball with a gap between bat and pad. Shami went through that gap and off stump took a hit this time 152/7
48.5 that's swung on to the boot, a full and reverse-swinging delivery, and the Indians love it, they are up in arms over the lbw appeal but the umpire says not out. That's a very close shout indeed. But has Permaul been run out? He was dozy in getting back to the crease, he was looking at the umpire having taken a couple of steps out, waiting for the lbw decision. Dhoni was appealing but he was alert enough to spot Permaul out of his ground and his underarm throw hit the stumps direct 152/8
51.3 caught at deep midwicket! Best has a wry smile as he walks off the field. Ashwin flighted the ball beautifully and it dipped on Tino and beat him in the flight. He slogged across the line and mis-hit it straight to Ojha on the boundary 159/9
54.1 Shami has ended the game and completed his five for! He burst through Cottrell's defences with a full ball that jagged back tremendously through the gap between bat and pad to flatten middle stump. India have won by an innings and Shami has nine in the Test 168/10
