Dhoni put the finishing touches in the last over, but this was all about Yuvraj Singh. Comeback game, and he has shown what he's capable off, lifting the spirits of Indian fans (at least a bit) after this afternoon's big announcement.

Sriman: "I feel what happened today is a hint to the Aussies as to what they are up against !!"

PK: "And again, Dhoni happens to be the one hitting the winning runs!"

Rohit Raj: "Sachin announced his retirement & Yuvraj announced his comeback.. SHOW MUST GO ON, THATs CRICKET."

vijay: "Im sure Yuvi will dedicate this to the 'Master Blaster'"

Shikhar Dhawan: "We have a very strong batting line-up, we got a good start. We lost one or two wickets in between but Yuvraj and Dhoni brought it back. The ball come on nicely to the bat, and the dew made it come on even better. "

Jose: "Ashwin owes Yuvi a dinner. Yuvi had to do some extra work to offset the 41 run gift Ashwin gave the Oz batsmen!"

Sekar Rangasamy: "100/4 and 202/4 :) 102 partnership between these 2.well done MSD, he knew his game very well than anyone else in Aus's team :-)"

Anshul isn't worried with the big things: "Just noticed, 7 out of 11 Australian players have middle names starting with J.. Moreover, most of them have James as their middle-name.. Wow! Is this good enough for record-books?"

Karl Correa: "Wine day at work today. A very emotional day. Toasting to the finest player I have known during my time and celebrating Yuvraj's comeback. It's sad none of my American colleagues don't know about Sachin. Well their loss. It was hard to put into words who he was but somehow managed to get in some analogies that made sense to them."

Anand: "Has anybody seen anyone else except Dhoni get the winning runs for India in recent times?"

Prabhu: "@Jose: Actually, its Yuvi who owes Ashwin a dinner... If he had not given that many, we may not have seen the Yuvi Show."

Presentation ceremony coming up.

George Bailey: "You probably would take that (total), we were one wicket further down than we wanted. You score 200, if you are going to chase it down, today is the day. Yuvraj batted superbly. I was really happy with the start, leaving Xavier a bit late, he only bowled three overs."

Man of the Match is Yuvraj Singh: "Shed a few kilos, worked really hard in the off season, came with a fresher mind, batted in the A games. I need some really good games to come back to action, pretty good platform (talking about the A games). I'm very confident when Mahi is around, he is one guy who goes after the bowling. I just thought I would try and take the game to the end. always a pleasure and honour to be playing tin the Indian jersey."

MS Dhoni: "Yuvi batted really well, really good start which was important. We all knew australia would bowl well with the new ball, but once the ball got wet and the seam got well.. one of the best batting you can see in the shorter format. I think we've got quite a few big partnerships, I didn't get too many opportunities to bat with him over the past year. Thanks to Yuvi, who accepted the challenge of batting at No. 5, he completed his goal in the best possible manner. I think batsmen proved the point."

Thanks everyone for tuning in on what has been an emotional day for Indian cricket, with its biggest name announcing his retirement and one of its biggest limited-overs stars returning with a terrific innings. See you all in the first ODI, ta ta.
