Well there you have it. South Africa hold on to the six-run victory and end the series 2-0. Pakistan now have to regroup, in a very short amount of time, and head over to South Africa for the return series, which is set to kick off from November 20. Hope you all enjoyed today's match and ESPNcricinfo's coverage of the match. Till then, its Rohan Sharma, on behalf of Venkat Raghav, bidding you a good night. Ta ta!
Faf du Plessis, South Africa captain and Man of the Match: It's a great achievement by the team. We played really well under pressure. We said we wanted to come here and 2-0 and we did that. There were times when Pakistan played really well and came back into the game. Our bowlers and fielders performed well. As a bowling unit we have certainly grown a lot over the last couple of months. Credit to them for the time and effort they have put into it. There is always room for improvement. We are not the finished article, but we are on our way. Nice to be back in SA and looking forward to another series against Pakistan. We will try to beat them again 2-0.

Mohammad Hafeez, Pakistan captain: I think this is the sequence of the series. Not finishing games very well. When we needed to play normal cricket, we didn't handle the pressure. Credit goes to SA for bowling in the right areas. Every time we thought we were there, we couldn't finish it. The middle and lower order are not doing the job that is required. Finishing is required in this team. Whatever the requirement of the team we have to do accordingly. There are some positives: Masqood, Shehzad and Nasir. Every individual has to lift themselves up for the team. I think Irfan is doubtful (for return series in SA) and I think he is struggling at the moment.
And that's that. South Africa just hold on to win this encounter by 6 runs to complete a series sweep, on the back of their 4-1 performance in the one-dayers before. Pakistan will feel disappointed at how they chased the total. For some time, it seemed as if they would stroll to the target as they took the required necessary risks, and ran between the wickets with intelligence. However, when it got closer to the crunch, as before, they were unable to hold their nerve, and succumbed under the pressure. South Africa now move to No. 2 on the T20I rankings, still behind Sri Lanka. This was one of the better opportunities for Pakistan to register a win, which they failed to do so. Maqsood was the standout performer with his 37. Stay tuned for the match presentation.

Azad.sust: "Now Ajmal have to do something."
