33.1 edged and taken at first slip on the back foot, a little turn takes a thick outside edge and it's very well taken down low from Trott to his left-hand side, smart grab. Just a little bit of turn decieved Rogers who was playing tentatively from the crease, it was a similar dismissal to Durham and the sixth time in the series Rogers has fallen to Swann this series 118/2
4.2 full just outside off, Warner drives very loosely at it and gets a thin nick to the keeper. Pretty ordinary stroke and a tame dismissal but reward for some decent early overs, the ball has swung and England have put it in the right place. Warner had been a touch edgy and tried to put bat and ball but simply didn't move his feet and got a regulation edge to Prior 11/1
87.1 bouncer, another fierce lifter and hooked powerfully, out towards deep backward square... where Kevin Pietersen dives to take a quite brilliant catch! Broad has winkled out Watto - although only by a few millimetres of rubber after they check on the no-ball - and a superb innings comes to an end. It's not a double but definitely a daddy and Watson can walk off plenty satisfied. He's played the short ball well but just couldn't quite keep the shot down this time 289/4
42.5 good length, forward press and Clarke is slow on the stroke, too slow, it comes off the pad and ricochets into the top of off stump. Anderson strikes again with a fine delivery that just shaped in slightly and beat Clarke's inside edge, it flicked the top of the bat but before they could go up for an appeal, the off stump had been pegged back 144/3

94.4 bowled him with a beaut, Anderson has Siddle again! And just as Australia's nightwatchman was approaching his highest score of the summer... The ball has been shaping nicely for Anderson, this was speared on in off, appeared to be drifting on to the pads and Siddle went to whip it to leg, too late noticed the ball curling away to clip the top of off 320/5
112.5 full ball a foot outside off, Haddin tries to stay leg side of it and drags it on. No really the right ball to try to dab away off the back foot because it was too full. He didn't even try to play it like a late cut, which might have been better, thick bottom edge into the base of middle and off stumps 385/6
119.3 goes hard again, top-edged ... and Trott takes a super catch running round from deep backward square! Chris Woakes has his first Test wicket, fellow debutant James Faulkner the victim - decent little cameo, playing for the team but got a bit cramped for room trying to hit across the line 422/7

122.2 gives it a bit of air, tossed up on middle and off, and bowled him! Like Faulkner, Starc perishes in the line of duty, trying to hit Swann into Pimlico but done by the flight, it dropped under the bat, straightened and felled timber 446/8
128.4 sliced, high into the air, and Anderson claims it, sprawling forward to complete the dismissal off his own bowling! Harris got right under the ball, swinging across the line, the ball upwards, descending towards mid-off, where Anderson caught up with and caught hold of it to end a spirited bash from the No. 10 491/9

31.3 sliding across, Cook nicks off again and is gone! The umpires check for the no-ball but Harris was fine - Ryano, Australia's chief Thundercat, has roared through to remove England's captain for the third time in the series, again he was playing at a ball he could well have left, not really a drive, just a push and he's again caught between the devil of falling over straight ones and the deep blue sea of uncertainty outside off. Game on? 68/1

53.4 swept, it bounces a little, gets a top edge and presents a simple catch to the 45, Shane Watson gleefully pouching an easy chance at short long leg. Root went to sweep from an off stump-ish line but it kicked up a little and Root couldn't control the stroke getting a top edge which chipped to the fielder who didn't have to move 118/2

80.1 shaping in, Trott stays back and is hit on the pad trying to flick across the line, Dar thinks long and hard before giving it out! Looked pretty good, though Trott decides to review. There might have been some doubt about whether it pitched in line with leg stump, or if it swung too much but the ball just straightened and would have pegged back the pole - Trott is dispatched for another scratchy, below-par return 176/3
100.3 edged, caught at first slip! But, hang on, the umpires are checking. It was very full outside off, Pietersen jabbed at it. Did it go straight into the ground? No, that's a big thick edge to slip. Strange dismissal, not sure Pietersen really picked the ball up. No footwork, playing way away from his body 217/4
128.5 great catch! Faulkner has his first Test wicket. Bell glances this down the leg side, Haddin springs to his left and holds it in one glove. Brilliant. 299/6
121.6 drives, edges and gone! Harris has another, his 22nd victim in a marvellous series, just too quick for Woakes, who got a chunk of bat on it but had no idea where the ball was going, it flew quickly to second slip and straight into Clarke's bread basket 269/5
138.6 frees the arms again, hitting across the line and gets a top edge, over the bowler, to the left of mid-on, Mitchell Starc, who takes a brilliant diving catch! Looked like it might have dropped safely for a moment but Starc flung himself full length... Prior goes, three short of fifty 363/8

144.4 quick and straight and bowled him! Bit of a gap between Swann's bat and pad, a length ball took the inside edge, bit of pad too and then knocked out middle stump. That wraps up the innings, with Faulkner scalping four of the six wickets to fall 377/10
140.5 nicked off, Haddin takes it, he's equalled Marsh! He just couldn't drop that one, right under the eyes and straight into the gloves as Anderson swung hard again, third wicket for Faulkner, who must be doubly pleased now that England are playing a few shots 368/9

8.3 top catch! Anderson doesn't bother leaving it to other fielders. Warner pushes a fraction early, chips it down the pitch and Anderson's sticks out his right hand as he stretches across in his follow through 34/1
11.1 picks out long-on...after a few uncertain moments. Watson tried to go down the ground, but didn't quite get enough on the ball. Pietersen had to judge it well, the ball seemed to be held up in the breeze. KP was right back on the rope at one stage but ends up taking it about 10 yards in from the edge 44/2
14.5 top catch! Superb, in fact. Faulkner moving to the leg side, gets a length delivery and opens the face with the edge travelling quickly to Prior who, initially, was heading towards the leg side but managed to fling himself back towards slip 67/4
12.2 gone! Haddin goes first ball. A rather limp prod outside off, just trying to run it down to third man. Simple edge through to Prior 50/3

19.5 angled in with the arm and Cook misses playing across his front leg, Faulkner has got him! He thinks about reviewing but Trott counsels against, correctly, it turns out, as Hawk-Eye suggests the ball, which hit the pad in front of middle, would have gone on to hit two thirds up between middle and leg stump 86/2
4.5 wide and tempting, Root swipes and nicks off - Haddin takes it and that's the record! Harris makes the breakthrough, he's bowled better balls that haven't got him a wicket but Root, trying to crack on, had a flash, got a thin top edge and the ball was safely pouched by a man who's had a superb series behind the stumps 22/1
35.3 that's plumb! Faulkner holds his nerve and gets Trott lbw as he shuffled across his crease and missed. He called for the review but he was hit in line and it was hitting leg 170/4
34.1 gone! Harris strikes first ball. Pietersen launches a length ball over the leg side, but finds long-on. To start with it looked as though Pietersen had middle it but Warner made excellent ground to his right and held the catch comfortably 163/3
39.6 superb from Starc! Bell drilled it back down the pitch to him, Starc stook his foot out then collected the ball and hurled it back to run him out 206/5
