That is it then from me, Suneer Chowdhary, has been a pleasure bringing you this game. Will be back with the fourth ODI day after and if this was anything to go by, we can be expected to be entertained yet again.

Presentation:

Rahim: Difficult pitch, the set batsmen got out at the wrong time, we did not score big when the batsmen got set. Not only Mahmudullah, there were others who played well but we were 20 runs short. A ball each end helped us against the dew. Hope to come back stronger next game.

Sammy We all know how important it was to win this game. They were playing good cricket, but that knock by Marlon helped us clinch the game. Sunil Narine bowled well, we know the quality he possesses and he finally got a pitch that helped him and we saw how dangerous he is. Frittering away wickets after getting starts has been an issue for us, but Powell did a good job and Samuels got a match-winning century for us.

Samuels, man of the match Not worried at all about running out of partners, it was a good team effort from our side. Experience in crucial situations helps as well and that is where I was able to pull it. Bangladesh is playing wonderful cricket and we will look to step up the gear. Dedicate this century to my prime minister!

-----------

In the end, a win by four wickets and with three overs to spare seems like it was an easy victory but truth be told, the difference between the two teams was the one man, Marlon Samuels.

Samuels' century was one of the most calculated and matured knocks you would see on a track that a lot of purchase for the spinners. In fact, the Bangladeshi batsmen would do well to watch tapes of how he batted, they would learn a lot after they collapsed yet again to be restricted to only 227.

Kudos to the way Bangladesh fought as well, other teams may have thrown in the towel pretty early but the home side did not, and this is an attitude that will hold them in good stead for the rest of the series.
