- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR0.6 edged to first slip! Kula has stuck to his line and he gets the reward. That was outside off, very similar to the last five deliveries and drew the batsman in defence. But the ball nipped away after pitching and took a healthy edge to Angelo at first slip. Big blow for New Zealand 4/13.5 another one this time, that's hit the pads in front of off! McCullum immediately points to the bat and he is got a reason to be disappointed with that, the ball took a big inside edge on to the pads. The ball was full and comes in with the angle and beats McCullum on the drive. 14/2104.4 Oh Kane, what have you done! this was the slider that was bowled a bit quick and Williamson tries to do a Taylor as he tries to sweep this from outside off. He misses the line and gets hit on the pads right in front. That was an easy one for the umpire and his finger was up even before Herath turned 290/499.6 leg before and that was plumb in front! It was a flatter delivery on the middle stump, Taylor went down on his knee to sweep it to deep square leg, but it was out as soon as he missed it. He was concentrating so hard since yesterday and the sweep shot has brought his downfall again 276/3152.1 there is the five-for! That was bowled flatter from over the wicket. The ball pitched outside off and turned in from short of length. Flynn, who has been picking up singles by nudging it to leg side, misses this time and his hit while on back foot. That would probably have gone on to hit middle and leg 410/9105.5 bowled him! Oh they are crumbling now. It was an innocuous tossed up delivery on the stumps and the batsman tried to defend it and also push it to cover at the same time, played inside the line and loses his off stump. What a waste! 291/5116.5 No 3 for Herath! Astle was playing the spinners well, but he didn't spot the carrom ball from Herath and decided to leave the ball seeing that it was flighted outside off, the ball pitched and came in, and hit him plumb in front and since he wasn't offering a shot, it became an easy decision 300/6130.3 charges down and heaves this one on the leg side, but he hasn't got the distance and Herath at deep midwicket just gobbles that one up. Randiv gets his first. 346/7141.2 knocked him over! It is bowled slow and on the middle stump, Southee, who was holding himself back for a while, goes for the big heave and is nowhere near the pitch of the ball. He misses and the ball hits the top of off and middle 374/8152.6 leaves this one and is bowled! That is no. 6 for Herath. It was the arm-ball this time and Boult shouldered arms with the confidence of a top-order batsman. Wasn't long before his confidence was shattered. 412/10Extras6 (b 2, lb 2, nb 2)TOTAL412 all out (153 Overs, RR: 2.69, 605 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-4 (Martin Guptill, 0.6 ov), 2-14 (Brendon McCullum, 3.5 ov), 3-276 (Ross Taylor, 99.6 ov), 4-290 (Kane Williamson, 104.4 ov), 5-291 (Kruger van Wyk, 105.5 ov), 6-300 (Todd Astle, 116.5 ov), 7-346 (Doug Bracewell, 130.3 ov), 8-374 (Tim Southee, 141.2 ov), 9-410 (Daniel Flynn, 152.1 ov), 10-412 (Trent Boult, 152.6 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR38.3 edged and gone! He continues bowling the length across the left-hander, and Para goes forward to defend that. The ball carries on with the angle, takes an outside edge and it is a simple catch for the keeper. Taylor looks mighty relieved 102/42.4 takes off the middle! Southee bowls it a full length and that goes straight on in the gap between the pad and the bat as Dilshan tries to drive it straight without any feet movement. Reminds me a bit of the delivery he bowled earlier this year to Tendulkar. Dilshan was a little late and played outside the line of the ball 7/12.6 caught at fine leg! Southee is on fire, he bowls a quick short delivery on the body which didn't get too high. Sanga went for the pull but since his weight was backwards because of the pace, he couldn't control the shot and hit it straight down the throat of Boult at fine leg, who takes a good catch as he was close to the boundary. 7/25.1 caught at gully! Boult strikes this time. After troubling Mahela in the last over, he bowls it full outside off. Mahela goes for the drive without getting close to the ball and edges it straight to gully 12/340.3 Guptill buckethands! Angelo falls short of his half-century. Another one for Southee. This was bowled at length outside off and Angelo pushed at it away from his body. The edge flies low to the right of Guptill at second slip and he swallows that one with a one-handed brute of a dive. Sri Lanka in further trouble, only 15 mins to lunch.. 103/589.5 edged to Guptill! The new ball has done it for the kiwis, and it is not going to be a century for Samaraweera. After bringing two balls in, this one leaves the batsman after pitching on the middle stump. He gets squared up and the edge carries at a comfortable height to Guptill at second slip. 225/749.6 caught at deep backward square! Prasanna tries to sweep this tossed up delivery from outside the off stump, the ball turns and he is not in control of the shot, the ball takes a top-edge and Kane Williamson runs in from deep backward square and takes a diving catch 128/691.2 a boulter!! fuller length delivery on the middle stump line, full as in almost a yorker, it swings big in the air and hits the batsman on his pads in front of leg. There was some doubt about the bat being involved but I think it looks ok. 232/892.5 edged to first slip! and that is the five-for for Southee. Bowls it full just outside off and that curves away, Kula stayed back to that one when he should have been forward and it's a regulation catch low to the left for Taylor at first slip 240/993.6 blinder by Kane! plucks this one with his left-hand from nowhere! fuller delivery outside off, and Herath pushed at it and got a healthy outside edge which was travelling quickly to the left of gully. But from nowhere, Williamson flies and catches that one mid-air. That was a screamer! Gives Boult is fourth too. 244/10Extras7 (lb 3, nb 3, w 1)TOTAL244 all out (94 Overs, RR: 2.59, 442 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-7 (Tillakaratne Dilshan, 2.4 ov), 2-7 (Kumar Sangakkara, 2.6 ov), 3-12 (Mahela Jayawardene, 5.1 ov), 4-102 (Tharanga Paranavitana, 38.3 ov), 5-103 (Angelo Mathews, 40.3 ov), 6-128 (Prasanna Jayawardene, 49.6 ov), 7-225 (Thilan Samaraweera, 89.5 ov), 8-232 (Suraj Randiv, 91.2 ov), 9-240 (Nuwan Kulasekara, 92.5 ov), 10-244 (Rangana Herath, 93.6 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR7.1 edged and taken at gully! the new ball does the damage. It was back of length outside off, bounces a little more than what he anticipates and as he tries to defend that off the back foot, the ball takes the edge and flies to Dilshan, who fumbles it, but luckily for him the ball just pops up in front of his face again and he makes no mistake the second time. 32/114.6 stumped! Beautifully done by Prasanna. The ball was beauty too. It was tossed up on the off stump and drew the batsman forward, but dipped and turned away. McCullum was already stretched and was falling forward and the wicketkeeper removes the bails in a flash. Macca goes just before lunch 56/219.5 edged to first slip! Loose shot by Williamson gives Kula his first wicket. That was bowled on a length, but it was a touch wider and moved away, the batsman chased it away from the body and edged it straight to the lone slip. One of the first innings' centurion back in the hut now. 74/351.5 at the non-striker's end! Taylor pushed this one towards wide long on for a couple and called for two immediately, Southee was slow to turn and said no when Taylor had come back quite a long way. The throw was accurate and Taylor had no chance. 180/819.6 and another one bites the dust! This one is bowled fulled and swings back in to Flynn who was half-stretching forward in defence. The ball evades the bat, hits the pad first and then the bat, the umpire has no hesitation in giving that one. Second for Kula and he is on a hattrick. This match is getting interesting more and more interesting by the minute. That would have taken the off stump out 74/420.2 caught at leg slip! What's going on! That was drifting down the leg side and Sri Lanka had smartly moved the short leg fielder to a leg slip position for Kruger van Wyk. He is not able to control this tickle to leg side and plays it straight to the hands of the fielder. That was more of an inside edge actually. He wanted to defend it towards mid-on 75/550.4 caught at midwicket! Unlucky, Astle sweeps this one really hard, and that hits the boot of the short-leg fielder and lobs up for the midwicket fielder to take an easy catch. How cruel is this game! 172/651.3 caught at long on! Herath gets his fourth. Bracewell jumped out of the crease but didn't get too much timing in his lofted shot, caught comfortably at long-on 177/752.3 the batsman charges down, misses the ball and doesn't look back! He starts walking straight towards the pavilion. Prasanna waits for a while, sees that Patel is not coming back, and then takes the bails off. 182/9Extras6 (lb 4, nb 2)TOTAL194/9d (54 Overs, RR: 3.59, 253 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-32 (Martin Guptill, 7.1 ov), 2-56 (Brendon McCullum, 14.6 ov), 3-74 (Kane Williamson, 19.5 ov), 4-74 (Daniel Flynn, 19.6 ov), 5-75 (Kruger van Wyk, 20.2 ov), 6-172 (Todd Astle, 50.4 ov), 7-177 (Doug Bracewell, 51.3 ov), 8-180 (Ross Taylor, 51.5 ov), 9-182 (Jeetan Patel, 52.3 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR0.1 first baller! fuller length delivery, pitches on middle and off, curves back and hits him on the front pad as he tries to flick that one to the leg side. What a start! Southee keeps adding to his tally 0/16.6 edged! There comes the big wicket for New Zealand. No feet movement from Dilshan. He tries to drive this fuller length delivery outside off from the crease, and pays the price. The ball moved a bit away and that was enough as he gets a healthy edge. Southee strikes again. 35/211.5 bowled him off his thigh pad! Sanga is not going to be the saviour this time. This one was back of length and Sanga would have glanced that to fine leg 99 times out of 100. This time though, he gets hit on the pad and the ball drops on to his leg stump. He looks behind in disbelief. Bracewell is ecstatic 41/313.6 edged to the keeper! It's all falling apart very quickly! It was another short of length outside off, and Mahela, much like two balls ago, stays on the back foot and plays inside the line. The edge carries to the keeper comfortably and now Bracewell has two too. 46/425.3 what a mix-up!. It was a back of length delivery, punched to cover and Thilan started running blindly while Mathews was stationed comfortably. He runs down three quarters of the pitch then realises that Angelo is not going anywhere. Jeetan at cover throws in the ball and van Wyk completes the run out. He was miles out. 63/585.5 Caught at second slip! It was a length ball going across Angelo, who tried to hit it hard towards the leg side and got an outside edge that flew fast towards Guptill, who took a reflex catch in front of his face 195/1060.6 caught behind! What a ripper! It was a perfect legspinner's delivery, flighted pitches round about off, then grips the surface, and turns and bounces. Prasanna came forward and the ball took the shoulder of the bat and was well taken by the keeper 119/665.2 caught at second slip! It's that man Guptill again. This was length ball outside off, held it's line a bit after being angled in, Randiv tries to defend it down the pitch but the ball takes an edge and flies low to the second slip fielder. No mistake made there and that has been duly swallowed sir. 122/781.3 caught at gully! short of length, goes across with the angle. Kula stays back in the crease and tries to steer it to the offside, but gets a healthy edge and is taken low down at gully by Williamson 168/882.6 What a blinder! or is it? it's a fuller length ball outside off and Eranga tries to play it from the crease, gets an edge to gully, very low to the right of Williamson and he plucks another one-hander. It looks good to me, but the third umpire is checking if that hasn't touched the ground. Finally the finger goes up 169/9Extras16 (b 4, lb 11, w 1)TOTAL195 all out (85.5 Overs, RR: 2.27, 369 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-0 (Tharanga Paranavitana, 0.1 ov), 2-35 (Tillakaratne Dilshan, 6.6 ov), 3-41 (Kumar Sangakkara, 11.5 ov), 4-46 (Mahela Jayawardene, 13.6 ov), 5-63 (Thilan Samaraweera, 25.3 ov), 6-119 (Prasanna Jayawardene, 60.6 ov), 7-122 (Suraj Randiv, 65.2 ov), 8-168 (Nuwan Kulasekara, 81.3 ov), 9-169 (Shaminda Eranga, 82.6 ov), 10-195 (Angelo Mathews, 85.5 ov)
