I will be with you for that first international match of South Africa's tour of New Zealand, but do join me beforehand for the curtain-raiser, the 1st Twenty20 International between the New Zealand Women and England Women. Until Friday, this is Avi Singh signing off thanking you for the mails tonight. Cheerio!
The Canterbury lower order did well to get their side back into the match after the top order had crumbled against some accurate bowling from Tsotsobe. South Africa will be pleased that their attempt to shake off the rust has not ended in defeat, and they will hope to build on this performance with a more complete effort against New Zealand in the 1st Twenty20 International on Friday in Wellington.
