That wraps up our coverage of this game. I will be back in less than an hour for the 2nd Twenty20 between the New Zealand and South African men's sides. For now, this is Avi Singh signing off thanking you for being with us today.
Laura Marsh is the Man of the Match and is also very happy with both aspects of her game, she plundered New Zealand for 11 boundaries and bowled tidily as well.
Suzie Bates is unhappy with her side's fielding and bowling, saw some improvements with the bat but says they need to have better plans and then execute them. Charlotte Edwards is beaming again, a flat pitch for her batsmen and she is delighted with the way her side bowled and fielded as well.
David: "Another very tidy performance from Edwards's team. Two nought up in the series and going strong." Indeed, England again proved far too good for New Zealand who were outclassed once more.
