That's a terrific series victory for Australia and makes it three away series wins in a row for Michael Clarke in 50-over cricket since the World Cup. They are a very impressive one-day unit with a bright future. For South Africa, they'll regret an odd batting display because they weren't far short of a decent total but they couldn't find enough boundaries. Australia also found life hard, but in Watson and Haddin had players who provided vital momentum, while Hussey was as cool as ever. Stay with us for the presentations.

"In a low scoring game like this the profligacy of Tsotsobe and Morkel was the difference between the 2 sides," says Nitin. I presume not our Nitin.

Here's Frederick. "South African team is missing a man like M Hussey - The Real Finisher - Perfect replacement for M Bevan."

Hashim Amla "We were about 20 runs short but we fought really well. Australia bowled well and we couldn't quite momentum in the last 10 overs. JP has a golden arm occasionally and he did well today."

The Man of the Match goes to Shane Watson for his all-round performance. "I had a couple of extra days to get fit for this game. There was some life in the pitch and we knew it would be difficult so it was nice to get some out of the middle. We had to learn quickly with the ball and it worked out nicely in the end."

The Man of the series is Mike Hussey "Great effort by the boys, it's always a tough place to come and play. I'm surprised to get the award but I won't knock it back! I wanted to show as much faith as I could in Pat and he was timing them really well."

Michael Clarke "There were a few nerves at the end but never fear, Michael Hussey's here," is honestly what he said. "We played some poor shots but delighted to get over the line. We've seen how close the two teams are and I'd love to come out on top again."

That just about wraps things up for the evening as Australia collect the series trophy. There are two Tests to follow which start on November 9 and they should be crackers. Don't forget to join ESPNcricinfo tomorrow for coverage of Sri Lanka v Pakistan, Bangladesh v West Indies and the T20 between India and England. For now, though, it's goodbye from Andrew McGlashan and Liam Brickhill.
