England win by six wickets Another whitewash then as England win the one-off Twenty20. Good game though, in the end India's slump in the second half of their innings cost them. Jade Dernbach was excellent, as was Eoin Morgan but it needed three desperate boundaries from Samit Patel in the final over to get England over the line. Andrew Miller has the report, which will well worth reading. There's a gallery too. Jade Dernbach is named man of the match for his four wickets. Good, bowlers don't get it enough. Anyway, that's the T20 series done, we won't remember it by the morning. Please join us on Saturday for the start of the ODI series.

Vinay Kumar to Patel, FOUR, finally Samit times one perfectly and finishes it in style! Down the track and smashes it over cover away for four. Punched the air a good four times, clearly meant plenty to him

Vinay Kumar to Patel, FOUR, that will be it! Samit backs away and gets more of this. Squeezed off the top-toe-edge and flew wide of Dhoni and away for four to third man!

Vinay Kumar to Patel, FOUR, boundary! Sweet relief but pure luck for England. Samit backed away, bottom edged and it sped past a diving Dhoni away. Five from five!

Vinay Kumar to Patel, 1 wide, wide given. Ooh, that's a harsh call. Samit backed away so Vinay went full and well outside off. It was within the wide-guideline marks though

We have a Super Over if we tie, so look out. Vinay will bowl the last over and Samit Patel will start with the strike. Extra cover and midwicket are saving the single. Can Samit find the rope?

MM Patel to Bopara, no run, brilliant from Munaf! That over has got India right back in it. Yorker slips past Bopara as he aims a drive. India must be favourites now!

MM Patel to Bopara, no run, dot ball! Excellent from Munaf. Slower ball that Bopara heaved at and missed
