- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR13.2 Kieswetter gone now! It's an England Powerplay special! This kept a touch low but it was fullish and straight and burst through Kieswetter's defences to rattle the stumps. Prasad is delirious and has every right to be! 87/212.5 all over for Cook! Very positive move to take the batting Powerplay but he's undone by Randiv here. Cook runs down the wicket, aims a big heave but some big turn leaves him stranded. Sangakkara has an age to take the bails off but it's been a positive start from Cook 85/141.3 gone! How odd is this!? It was a touch short from Randiv, bounced more than Trott thought as he tried to pull, came off the thigh, then onto his arm and rolled down onto the stumps. Trott tried to kick it away but couldn't get there 233/615.5 Pietersen falls! Sri Lanka are right back in this now! Extra bounce was the key. Outside off, Pietersen aimed a back-foot drive but could only succeed in edging behind 95/336.4 well, where's that come from? Morgan walks down the wicket but doesn't get close to a flat offspinner from Dilshan, the ball buzzing past the outside edge and Sangakkara quickly whipping the bails off. Against the run of play, Sri Lanka have got the breakthrough. It's timely too, Morgan would surely have looked to up the tempo sooner rather than later 213/439.1 Bell skips down the wicket and chips straight to long-on! Timed it better than he wanted to I guess but it makes for another failure down the order for Bell. Doesn't look a natural No. 6 at all, largely because he isn't one 222/544.4 Patel goes now! Randiv has another, England stumbling! The building pressure told for him. Tried to break the shackles with a big shot down the ground but only managed to slice it up to cover where Mathews juggled the take, he's really got terrible hands! 243/744.6 five for Randiv! England in a spin again! This is really laboured from Bresnan. He tried to drag a pull but ended up with one hand off the bat and a gentle top edge that looped simply to Sangakkara 243/848.1 oh dear! Anderson was so desperate to get Swann on strike that he pushed to cover and shaped to run, Swann had gone too far and when the throw came at the bowler's end Swann couldn't get back in time 253/9Extras22 (b 1, lb 6, w 15)TOTAL268/9 (50 Overs, RR: 5.36)Fall of wickets: 1-85 (Alastair Cook, 12.5 ov), 2-87 (Craig Kieswetter, 13.2 ov), 3-95 (Kevin Pietersen, 15.5 ov), 4-213 (Eoin Morgan, 36.4 ov), 5-222 (Ian Bell, 39.1 ov), 6-233 (Jonathan Trott, 41.3 ov), 7-243 (Samit Patel, 44.4 ov), 8-243 (Tim Bresnan, 44.6 ov), 9-253 (Graeme Swann, 48.1 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR1.4 a thick edge flies to Trott at first slip, Bresnan has the breakthrough! Bresnan slammed one down just short of a good length on off stump, Karunaratne's feet were set in concrete as he pushed limply at the ball and the edge nestled safely in Trott's lap 7/13.2 hooked straight to Dernbach at fine leg! The ball was short and rising on leg stump, Dilshan swivelled across and got a great connection but hit it right down the fielder's throat, he didn't have to move. So similar to his dismissal in the first match of this very series, and Sri Lanka are in a spot of bother at 12 for 2 12/229.6 gone! Chopped on, Sangakkara falls and Bresnan is ecstatic. He was trying to chop the ball down towards third man but it was just too close to him for the shot, the ball cannoning off the inside edge into the stumps. Sangakkara trudges off, and that will tip the scales firmly in England's favour 131/58.2 chipped tamely to Alastair Cook at mid-off! Jayawardene was trying to go over the top, but a full delivery stopped in the pitch and bounced a little more than expected and Cook backpeddled to hold an easy catch. Sri Lanka in real trouble now, 29 for 3 and two of their best batsmen in the pavilion 29/326.3 Swann gets his man! It's been a fantastic battle but Swann gets the better of it in the end. Chandimal hared down the track, the drift and dip took it wider than he imagined and he swung wildly at thin air as the ball past him by to leave him stranded 123/448.1 slower ball has done for Mathews! Dernbach screams to the heavens! Great delivery! Mathews was completely deceived, played much too early, lost one hand off the bat and it looped to Bresnan at short third man who held on. Brilliant innings but it might not be enough 252/946.1 Mendis falls trying to clear the boundary! England strike gold with Patel. Mendis was down the track trying to smear Patel over cow corner, didn't get enough of it and Pietersen waited coolly underneath to pouch the chance! 233/647.4 Kulasekara has gone! Another slower ball is swung out to deep midwicket, Eoin Morgan looking into the sun steadies himself under it and takes the catch. Dot ball, too 245/747.5 panic from Sri Lanka! Randiv has gone without facing a ball! Mathews drove nicely out to deep cover and Randiv desperately wanted to come back for a second, Mathews didn't have any of it and the batsmen ended up at the same end, eventually Randiv turned back but far too late 246/848.2 bowled him! Dernbach is appealing at first but realises soon enough he's won the match for England! Spearing yorker bursts under the bat and rattles the stumps! England go wild, the crowd goes wild! Cook has pulled off victory in his first series as full-time captain 252/10Extras13 (lb 9, w 4)TOTAL252 all out (48.2 Overs, RR: 5.21)Fall of wickets: 1-7 (Dimuth Karunaratne, 1.4 ov), 2-12 (Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3.2 ov), 3-29 (Mahela Jayawardene, 8.2 ov), 4-123 (Dinesh Chandimal, 26.3 ov), 5-131 (Kumar Sangakkara, 29.6 ov), 6-233 (Jeevan Mendis, 46.1 ov), 7-245 (Nuwan Kulasekara, 47.4 ov), 8-246 (Suraj Randiv, 47.5 ov), 9-252 (Angelo Mathews, 48.1 ov), 10-252 (Lasith Malinga, 48.2 ov)
