Weather ruins fourth Youth ODI

Sri Lanka Under-19s 150 (Shehan Jayasuriya 60, Matt Dunn 3-28) v England Under-19s 41 for 1 (Adam Rossington 21*)
Scorecard

The weather played spoilsport as no result was possible in the fourth Youth ODI between Sri Lanka Under-19s and England Under-19s at the NCC Ground in Colombo. The match was reduced to a 20-over game after rain in the morning, and Sri Lanka managed to reach 150. Opener Shehan Jayasuriya raced to 60 off 43, and Sri Lanka built a solid base. They were pegged back in the end by some tight bowling and fielding from England. Only 20 runs came off the last 4.1 overs, with seven wickets falling. Fast bowler Matt Dunn took three late wickets and a total of four wickets fell in his last over - two of them run-outs.

England's chase had got off to a steady reply. They had only got 41 runs in 7.1 overs, but had lost a solitary wicket. Unfortunately the innings couldn't be continued due to bad light and the match ended without a winner. Sri Lanka still lead the series 3-0 with the final match to be played at the Moors Sports Club Ground in Colombo on Saturday.
