Prabhash Salinda: "We, Sri Lankans have never experienced rainy weather in February. This is a classic example of relationship between WI and rain. When ever we face a drought we can arrange a WI tour. We are lucky to have WI in the other group of World Cup......"
2:10pm: It is dark all around the stadium and it is pelting down. Play looks bleak.
Raj Arora: "I guess West Indies - Sri Lanka-rain have some serious relationship..a love triangle." That is a good one.
1:55pm: The rain is getting heavier and it looks very bad.
1:45pm: Welcome back, we have some bad news, it has started to drizzle and the whole ground is covered. Play is not expected to start for an hour at least.

Innings Break: West Indies finish on 245, well below the score they were aiming to get or when Barath and Sarwan were batting. It was the batting powerplay that destroyed the Windies batting, they lost wickets in succession.
