- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR3.2 third time lucky for England, Tremlett strikes with a cracker of a delivery, climbed from a length and rapped the glove, it looped gently to gully, simple enough chance for England to finally hold one 15/113.1 Bresnan has his first Ashes wicket and Hughes has gone. Full and wide, inviting a slash but Hughes didn't get enough of it, instead the edge flew straight to Pietersen who made no mistake in the gully 37/214.2 gone! Tremlett strikes again, what a delivery. Spitting off a length and going away off the seam, Ponting is rooted to the crease and pushes at the delivery. A thick edge flies straight to Graeme Swann 37/333.4 brilliant bowling from Anderson, he's just worked Clarke over with consistent, probing away swing and this time it finds the edge, Clarke pushing at the ball, feathered edge and Prior collects the simple chance. Australia in total disarray 77/625.2 edged! Anderson strikes straight away, and what a delivery to do it with. Landing on middle and off and shooting towards the slips, the length was full and Hussey was drawn into the drive, getting a good, healthy edge that flies through to Prior 58/429.3 Smith gone now, always looked a matter of time, pushed very hard at this outside off, touch of nibble away off the pitch found the edge and Prior did the rest 66/534.5 Bresnan has another and Haddin has gifted him this, flat-footed waft of a drive, flicked the edge and went through to Strauss. Pretty miserable stuff this from the home side 77/735.2 Anderson has his man! Johnson's gone for a duck, this is a cracking delivery, seams away off a full length, finds the edge and Prior has his fourth catch 77/840.3 there we go, another one is on his way and Australia are nine down. Tremlett pitches one up invitingly outside off, a touch of movement through the air and off the pitch takes the ball away from the bat and a regulation edge lands safely in Prior's gloves. His fifth catch today 92/942.5 all over, Australia are out for 98 as Hilfenhaus feathers a sixth catch through to Prior 98/10Extras7 (lb 2, nb 5)TOTAL98 all out (42.5 Overs, RR: 2.28, 195 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-15 (Shane Watson, 3.2 ov), 2-37 (Phillip Hughes, 13.1 ov), 3-37 (Ricky Ponting, 14.2 ov), 4-58 (Michael Hussey, 25.2 ov), 5-66 (Steven Smith, 29.3 ov), 6-77 (Michael Clarke, 33.4 ov), 7-77 (Brad Haddin, 34.5 ov), 8-77 (Mitchell Johnson, 35.2 ov), 9-92 (Peter Siddle, 40.3 ov), 10-98 (Ben Hilfenhaus, 42.5 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR55.3 gone! Two wickets for Siddle, this one courtesy of a leaping, one-handed catch from Mike Hussey at backward point. It was another back of a length effort ball from Siddle, and he found alarming lift off the pitch to surprise Strauss, who was looking to work this quietly to leg. A thick leading edge sent the ball in the opposite direction, and Hussey did the rest. The game moves on once more! 170/251.1 edged! Does it carry to Watson at second slip? Yes it does, he's gone! Finally the breakthrough comes for Australia, and it was a good ball that did it. Landing on middle and leg and drawing Cook forward into a defensive poke, the ball just left him off the seam and did enough to take a healthy edge 159/186.3 this one keeps low, jags in and hits Pietersen plumb in front! Siddle strikes again! He launched himself into the appeal as soon as ball hit pad, he knew he had his man. Pietersen, after looking so good on either side of lunch, falls to some variable bounce and appreciable seam movement 262/391.3 Collingwood fails again, he was trying to be positive and has managed to lift a Johnson long-hop straight to fine leg who held on gleefully! Johnson celebrates and maybe that will kick-start his Test 281/495.3 Johnson has another and Bell has gone! Short ball, gets up a touch higher than Bell expected and he top-edged a hook down towards Siddle who ran in and dived to hold on to an excellent catch 286/5141.1 that will be that, soft dismissal in the end but Siddle deserves some luck, fullish ball just stuck in the wicket a fraction and Prior chipped it straight to mid-on. He stood motionless for a moment, realising he'd thrown away a possible Ashes hundred but it ends a fine innings 459/6145.4 Siddle has a five! He's really earned that, gets Bresnan with a classic feathered outside edge to a forward push, might have nibbled away off the pitch a fraction 465/7156.3 what a catch! The crowd were quiet for a good few seconds before they realised a wicket had actually just fallen. Banged in short again by Hilfenhaus, Swann hooks and a thick edge flew fast and straight and looked to be going over Haddin's head ... but he timed his salmon-leap to perfection and got both hands to it 508/8158.1 Hilfenhaus gets another! Full, straight and reversing in enough to beat the inside edge of Tremlett's defensive poke and smash into middle stump 512/9159.1 and Siddle gets a six-for on his home ground! Full, straight and reversing away from the left-hander's defensive push to peg the off stump back 513/10Extras18 (b 10, lb 2, nb 3, w 3)TOTAL513 all out (159.1 Overs, RR: 3.22, 700 minutes)Fall of wickets: 1-159 (Alastair Cook, 51.1 ov), 2-170 (Andrew Strauss, 55.3 ov), 3-262 (Kevin Pietersen, 86.3 ov), 4-281 (Paul Collingwood, 91.3 ov), 5-286 (Ian Bell, 95.3 ov), 6-459 (Matt Prior, 141.1 ov), 7-465 (Tim Bresnan, 145.4 ov), 8-508 (Graeme Swann, 156.3 ov), 9-512 (Chris Tremlett, 158.1 ov), 10-513 (James Anderson, 159.1 ov)

- BATSMENRBM4s6sSR31.6 oh dear, Watson has done it again! He is a disaster in the fifties. Having left the ball so well all innings, Watson is too eager to let go again and this ball started pretty straight, swung back and rapped him straight on the pad in front, umpire Tony Hill thought long before firing his finger up and Watson reviewed but it only confirmed it was clipping the top of off stump 99/211.3 oh dear, shocker from Australia. Watson pushed to cover and set off for a single that was never there, Hughes scampered but in came the throw from Trott, low and flat, Prior collected in front of the stumps, whipped off the bails and Hughes was well short. Dreadful run 53/135.4 Ponting has chopped on! The vigil ends. He really fought hard this innings but this delivery keeps perhaps a fraction low outside off stump, Ponting was defending with an angled bat and it found a fatal inside edge that went onto the stumps 102/352.5 gone! The plan works to perfection, Swann sends one down on the perfect line, the ball rushes straight on to kiss the outside edge and fly to Strauss at second slip. Another one goes, and England are that much closer 134/537.5 Hussey gone for a duck! Bresnan has another and Australia are tottering now. Bresnan hung it outside off stump, it just stuck in the pitch a fraction and Hussey pushed it airily to Bell at short cover who made a tough chance look simple 104/461.5 that's that, Smith's promising innings ends with a drag on. Not the best delivery Anderson will ever bowl - short outside off stump - and the pull shot finds a bottom edge that goes onto the stumps. Anderson gives Smith a stern look by way of celebration 158/667.5 there's the first one! Johnson pokes leaden-footed from the crease to a good length delivery on off stump and an inside edge cannons into off stump. Just two more to go 172/784.2 but perhaps that is misplaced! Siddle won't get that maiden fifty today, his innings nevertheless ends with a career-best 40 as he aims to loft Swann straight down the ground but doesn't get the best connection and the ball lands safely in Pietersen's hands running round from long-on 258/885.4 on a length, regulation edge, and they're there! Prior tumbles to his left to hold the catch and starts the celebrations.
