Match Referee

It wasn't close in the end, but Zimbabwe had their moments with the bat on a flat deck. Two fine innings from Chibhabha and Masakadza, but they were trumped by Smith and Bosman's onslaught. Worries for South Africa after Morne Morkel turned his ankle, but for Johan Botha, it's one win from one match as captain, and that's all that matters in the end.

Sahil Dutta's bulletin will be up here shortly, and don't forget to check out our Facebook page. Graeme Smith is Man of the Match for his game-seizing innings. Join us again at Kimberley on Sunday for the 2nd T20. From Andrew Miller, it's goodnight.

  • Johannesburg's sprawling retail capital

It was not until the third day of my wanderings through Johannesburg’s sprawling central monument to consumerism, Sandton City, that I began to find my bearings

  • Smith lauds newcomers after series victory

It was always likely that South Africa would dominate this series, but Zimbabwe's plucky performances with the bat in the Twenty20s and first two ODIs meant the scale of their crushing defeat in Benoni was unexpected

  • Duminy, de Villiers set up huge SA victory

South Africa stamped their authority firmly on their northern neighbours in the final ODI of Zimbabwe's tour in Benoni, sealing a massive 272-run win - a record margin of victory for them

  • Chigumbura upbeat despite Benoni thrashing

Despite a winless tour, Zimbabwe have generally committed themselves admirably in South Africa - the Benoni debacle aside - and team captain Elton Chigumbura insisted that the experience of playing top-level opponents would be helpful as Zimbabwe seek to
