That's all from us here at ESPNcricinfo. Do join us on Thursday for the 4th ODI at 9am local time, and make sure you cross over now to our coverage from Bangalore, where the 308-run stand for the third wicket between Sachin and Vijay has finally been broken. On behalf of scorer S Raju and all my colleagues, this is Avi Singh signing off. Thanks for joining us today, we hope you have enjoyed our coverage. Goodbye!!
Kyle Mills picks up US$1000 for the game's best six, Shahriar Nafees the same amount for the fastest fifty.
Daniel Vettori: 'Very disappointed with the batting, Ryder and Watling set us up but from then on we were under pressure. The spinners for Bangladesh bowled very well, we have to adjust quickly. We have to post a decent score in the next game to put some pressure on them.'
Shakib al Hasan: 'Boys played really well, we kept taking wickets, Suhrawadi bowled fantastically. The only area we didn't bowl well was in the Powerplay. Our opening batsmen batted solidly and they gave us a good start, that's what we need.'
The Man of the Match award goes to Suhrawadi Shuvo for his 3 for 14 in 10 overs. 'It's always a good feeling to play well and win, the wicket was helping a lot and I was just putting the ball in the right place.'
So exactly 10 overs to spare for Bangladesh with 7 wickets in hand, a fully deserved win which means that this will be the first ODI series against a full-strength Full Member opposition that Bangladesh cannot lose. The bowlers set this victory up, especially the miserly Suhrawadi who also plucked three wickets. Nafees and Kayes then both batted with ease in reaching fifties. On the other hand the New Zealanders are really behind the eight-ball now, needing to win the last two games just to avoid a series defeat. Expect changes to the middle order for the next game, particularly in light of Stewart's head knock. You would have been forgiven today if you had thought the New Zealanders were actually Bangladesh given the way they played today. There was a distinct lack of the fight normally associated with the Kiwi side except when Taylor and Mills maximised the Batting Powerplay. Stick around for the presentations, taking place shortly.

Drinks break taken, rather perfunctory really considering only 16 runs required but the New Zealanders will be glad for some respite from both the sizzling sun and the dominant Bangladeshi batting
