111.1 caught! Harbhajan flights the ball outside off stump and gets it to bounce and turn a little into the right-hander, Watson lunges forward to defend but gets an inside edge on to pad, the ball bobs up off the pad towards short leg where Gambhir dives forward and to his right to catch it with two hand hands 275/6
4.2 Zaheer has nailed Katich and India have a wicket here. Good variation from Zaheer, he has been moving them away most of the time, but he gets this one to duck into Katich, who is caught on the move as he shuffles across and looks to work it to the leg side. Hits him in front of off and it was crashing into middle and leg. 13/1
41.4 appeal for run out and Raina has caught Ponting short of the crease. Full on leg stump and workd off the toes towards midwicket where the live-wire Raina swooped in and sent the throw back in quick time. Ponting seemed to be taking it easy after starting quickly, and Gambhir at short leg did well to get off the ball's path and it crashed into the stumps at the striker's end. 154/2
53.6 catch no. 197 for Dravid. Clarke went back to play the square cut to one that pitched outside off and spun back into the right-hander, he edged it from off stump and Dravid held on to a sharp, low chance at first slip 172/3

82.3 Zaheer has sent Hussey back! Definite reverse swing, this time the other way - it shapes back into Hussey from outside off and defeats his forward prod. Thuds into the pads in front of middle. Was it going down the leg? We will find soon, but Hussey is on the way back. Replays suggest it would have clipped leg stump 218/4
84.3 Zaheer has prised out another left hander! This one ducks in from a length outside off, North let it go, rather daring call that. Zaheer thought it missed the stumps and threws his arms up in frustration. But the off bail was knocked back. No one saw it, but Dhoni did. And eventually so did Zaheer. The frown turned into a smile and North was on his way back. 222/5
150.2 now that's a catch! And Zaheer has his tenth five-wicket haul. He angled the ball across the right-hander with an upright seam, pitched on a good length in line with the stumps and got it to shape away. Paine pushed forward at it and the ball flew quickly and low off the outside edge towards second slip where Laxman dived forward and to his left to catch it moments before it hit the ground 427/9
133.1 the drinks do the trick! Zaheer lets out a roar after sending Johnson out with a neat delivery short of a length outside off stump. Not much movement there, Johnson was playing off the backfoot and got a thin nick as he fished away from the body. Dhoni pouches this one. 357/7
137.3 Gambhir has taken a smart catch at short leg and Hauritz is on his way. Regulation offspinner turns into Hauritz from off stump and he looks to work it off the pads with the turn. Gambhir stayed low and pocketed it, off the middle of the bat into his hands. Good anticipation and presence of mind. Harbhajan has three. 373/8

151.4 caught at long-on. Bollinger goes after Ojha and skies the slog towards long-on where Ishant runs in from the boundary and takes the catch as he's sliding on the grass. That looked extremely good from Ishant but replays show the ball nearly burst through his fingers. Ojha finally has a wicket in his 52nd over. 428/10

13.2 Johnson has got Gambhir. That one held its line and Gambhir's backlift as he played from the backfoot, was from the slips instead of from behind the back. Raps him high on the pads, before the bat can come across, and it would have headed into middle and leg. Umpire Gould raises his finger high in a trice. Gambhir was not happy with the decision. 81/1
19.3 Johnson has nipped out Sehwag who has looked loose in the last few minutes. Huge wicket this. Short ball angling across from leg to off, Sehwag looks to work it to the leg side and gets a leading edge that lobs up into the covers for a simple catch. 106/2
61.5 Dougie strikes! Rahul is gone! It was the length delivery that slanted away from Rahul who reached out for it, bat away from the body, and got the edge. It was the regular left-armer's dismissal. Angle it away and hope the batsman stabs away from the body. Nick and gone! 230/4
37.3 Ishant has lost his off stump! And he didn't offer a shot there! He looks bemused. Dougie pumps his fist. It landed on a length around off and middle, landed on the seam and moved towards the off stump. Ishant shouldered arms. Death rattle! Clatter! 151/3

95.3 Marcus has nailed Sachin. The crowd is stunned. Caught him right in front of the stumps and it would have hit the leg stump. It turned in from the off stump line, Tendulkar had a lazy waft across the line, he was walking when he played that shot, looking for a single to the square-leg region but missed it completely. Trapped in front. It would have hit the leg stump. Fine innings but its over now. Who will come out to bat next? 354/5

107.3 Nailed! Entertaining innings ends. And that's Mitch's five-for. It landed back of length and skidded towards the leg and middle line. Raina was caught at the crease and wafted across the line. The ball kept a touch low as it skidded on and hit him. It would have taken out the leg stump. The predictive eye of broadcasters says it would have hit the middle in fact. 401/9
101.5 Edged and it appears as if it was just short of Watson at first slip.Or was it a clean catch? The fielders aren't sure whether it carried. The umpires have a chat. It appeared as if it was short. Let's see. They go up stairs to the third umpire. And the verdict is that it;s out!. Replays:The fingers were on the ground and the tv ump reckons it landed on the fingers and went into the palms. This one will be debated in the pubs later I am sure. Some would say it landed on the fingers and rolled on to the palm and hence that's out. The replays does give that impression. Some might say it's an illusion created by that angle and it landed just short. 382/6
101.6 Laxman is still suffering from the bad back and India's back is giving way here. Two in two for Mitch. A full delivery that slants away from Harbhajan who has a lame and fatal poke at it. Edge and gone! Aussies roar! 382/7

106.4 Clatter! Zaheer goes for the big slog sweep and has missed it completely. It was a well-flighted delivery and it broke back in to the hit the middle stump. Even as SMG fumes and rants at how "unnecessary" a shot that was with a batsman at the other end ... the networks in India have gone to ad breaks. Oh well! 399/8
108.1 And it's all over. It was flighted outside off stump and a Laxman, with the bad back, is unable to stretch forward properly in defense. And the ball didn't turn back in. It almost went on straight and went of the edge to first slip. 405/10

18.1 It was short and wide and there to be hit. Watson opted for the pull shot but ended up dragging it of the inner edge and on to his stumps. A good innings but its over now. He has provided Australia with a platform. Can the rest make use of it? 87/1
40.3 That change in angle has done the trick. It was from round the stumps, landed outside off stump and turned in a bit. Katich pushed inside the line and got the edge. Ojha is delighted. He has been very accurate, he has induced claustrophobia and finally, now, he has taken a wicket in this innings. 138/4
18.5 Double strike! They had a man at backward square-leg and would you believe it Ponting has pulled straight to him. It was the short ball on the off and middle line, Ponting went for the pull but dragged it low towards Suresh who leaned forward to take a good low catch at backward square-leg. 91/2
20.5 Clarke is gone and it's not a no ball this time. And what a delivery that. What a nasty awkward lifter. Suddenly, the game has swung around. Suddenly, Ishant has changed things around. Suddenly, the Aussies are on the back foot. It was a sharp bouncer and Clarke went blind: he shut his eyes, yanked his head away and offered his bat as an ungainly face shield. Mistake. The ball flew up, hit the glove, rammed into the shoulder and popped up behind. Clarke quietly turned and walked. The crowd roar. 96/3
47.1 Did it pitch outside leg? Yep it did. Well outside leg in fact. It was delivered from over the wicket. This pitched outside leg and turned in. Hussey was shaping to paddle it and was struck in front. Given out lbw. The game hurtles on towards a potentially thrilling finale 154/5
49.5 Was there an edge or was it solely bat hitting the front toe? North has been struggling throughout his stay and his misery ends now. It landed on the leg and middle line and straightened. North leaned forward to defend but appeared to have got a thin edge on to his pad. The ball popped up to silly point and Harbhajan is elated. I was wondering whether it was given out lbw or as a catch. Replays suggest that there was a thin nick on it. Or may be not! One more replay in now and it shows that the bat hit the front toe. Was there some bat on ball? Hope we get a snickometer replay. And it's tea break now. 165/6
50.3 Pujara takes a sharp catch at silly point. It turned from the middle and off line and Paine shaped to defend. The ball clipped the outer edge and went towards Pujara's boots. Pujara was in fact rising up and moving to his right but somehow managed to get down quickly to grab it with both hands. 165/7
52.2 Johnson was caught in two minds- whether to play or leave it and he chose very late to leave it. Too late. The shiny side was outside and it wobbled away after landing on a length outside off stump. Mitch tried to withdraw his bat very late and the ball ran of the face of the bat to Dhoni. 170/8

56.6 What a magical delivery! Too good for any one that. Zaheer roars. It came in from that round-the-stumps angle, landed on the middle and off line and reversed away to knock out the off stump. Hauritz was looking to tap it to the on side and had no defense against that reversing gem. 183/9
60.5 Yorked! Wicket no 250. It crashed into the middle stump; Hilfy couldn't get his bat down in time. Zaheer has a look at the batsman, smiles gently, walks away, spread his arms and roars. No 250 and he leads the team off the field. Zaheer khan is the fifth Indian bowler to reach the 250 wicket mark. 192/10

0.4 Given out lbw! There was a big inside edge. And it hit him outside off. It was a length delivery straightening outside off stump, Gambhir leaned forward to defend and it struck the inside edge and hit his pad. Gambhir is not happy as he walks off. 0/1
11.5 The Australians explode in joy. They all get into a celebratory huddle. It was banged in short again but this one was chest-high and around the off stump. Sehwag just opened the bat-face and guided it softly to gully! He usually upper cuts them but has been circumspect today. And he is gone now. What a moment this. Tendulkar stands alone in the middle. 48/3
7.4 Bollinger nails Rahul Dravid. Again. It was a full-length delivery well outside off and Rahul lunged across to defend, bat away from the body and got a thin edge. Dravid stands there for a while before he turns back and walks away. Must be disappointment at the losing his wicket and pushing so far away from the body as there was an edge. India wobbling at 31 for 2. Sehwag is still out there. 31/2
29.6 And ladies and gentleman, that's the end of Tendulkar. The Aussies roar in joy. Big moment this. It was the short delivery around the off stump, there was not much room for a square-cut but Tendulkar was thinking about the upper cut. He arched back, tried to create some room and went for the upper cut. The ball flew to left of gully where Hussey held on to a sharp catch. Tendulkar knew positive intent is the way to go today and tried to put his plan into action. It just wasn't his day today. VVS Laxman is still there of course. 119/6
13.2 It wouldn't surprise many that Raina has been bounced out. He hopped to get on top of the chest-high bouncer but could only poke it to slips. Gone! It was a surprise that they didn't bounce that many at him in the first innings. They have corrected it this time. Australia are on the kill here. They are hustling the Indians. Tendulkar is still out there.Zaheer Khan walks out 48/4
23.5 Hauritz has taken out Zaheer with a straighter one. First strike on the final day. It landed outside off stump and didn't turn in. Zaheer was playing for the off break and pushed inside the line. The ball clipped the edge and went to first slip. And the pressure increases on India. 76/5

33.2 Dhoni is run out! Aussies celebrate with immense joy. It was pushed between mid-on and mid-off. Dhoni took couple of steps before he froze. Perhaps it was because of the confusion over the runner. There was a easy run in that. Raina was more than half-way down the track. He also stopped. Meanwhile, Hilfenhaus picked the ball casually hardly realising the drama behind him. He then turned and looked at the possibility. Dhoni now charged across. Hilfy threw. The ball went past Dhoni and crashed into the stumps at the other end. GOne! Dhoni didn't run across the pitch, he kept running straight. 122/7
33.4 Another one gone. Australia close in! It could be all over in the first session itself. It was the short delivery that kicked up just below chest-high. Harbhajan had got his arms up before he decided to take the bat out of the way. Too late. The ball flew in, rammed into the gloves and popped up to the slip cordon. 124/8
55.2 Game on a knife's edge now. Last man walks out. That's the wicket Australia was looking for! Ishant's long brave patient vigil is over. It was the lovely slower one, off cutter on the middle and leg line and full in length. Ishant drives but outside the line. The ball lands and turns towards the leg stump. Got to see the replays: It looks as if it would have missed the leg stump. Replays show that that ball would have comfortably missed the leg stump! oh well.. 205/9
